Well, if Miz wasn't tag champ, the MVP pin would make him the clear US #1 contender. So think of it as MVP has a right to either one (but probably not both) (but he probably will get a tag title shot too).

I hate to be all technical and stuff, but isn't Batista still on Smackdown?

Will they let both title holders wrestle on that show for now or will they trade HBK for Batista? Or will they allow Jericho back to RAW? Or will Batista just be on RAW tonight without explanation or "because Vince said so"?

Well, last year after No Way Out both champs were on the Smackdown brand. After a couple months of cross-brand rivalries, everything ended up settled by the draft. I'd expect Batista to be a Smackdown wrestler that can appear on Raw, I'd expect HBK and Undertaker to pop up on each others shows as part of the feud, and I'd expect the titles to be on separate shows again by Backlash.

Y'know the REALLY great thing about the Cena/Batista title switch is that Sheamus just got fucked out of his re-match. I love it.

Quite right, Justin; I updated my post to reflect the total combined reigns of all three individuals.

They tend to forget about brand alignment come Wrestlemania time.

Saw this show for free, and not to be a negative nelly, but I thought it was fairly awful. The opening chamber match was really boring...Dibiase had a little heat for his moment and Seamus losing the belt was nice to see, but the whole title defense immediately after a EC is getting really lame. For a few years there with the Royal Rumbles, they did the "Diesel Push" and every year, someone had to eliminate a third of the field. Going away from that as the major story of the bout has made the last few Rumbles stronger, and this is another storyline crutch...along with corrupt authority figure making matches on the fly...that needs to go the way of the dodo. I didn't even bother watching Kane/Drew, thought the female stuff was weird but not terrible, and was yet again not impressed with Miz once the bell goes. All the points in the world for being great on the stick and getting heat, but there is just nothing there as far as workrate. Second chamber was much more entertaining but by the time we got to that point in the night, the two hours of boredom that preceded it totally killed the crowd. Right booking decisions were made and all the great athletes were in this one, so it worked for what it was. But all in all, definitely a thumbs down for me.

EDIT: And can someone muzzle Striker? This guy contributes nothing but completely inaccurate bullshit to his commentary. I almost take it for granted now that his "last time __________ happened on this event/in this city" is going to wrong.

I'm pretty sure thats the first time the full McIntyre entrance has been seen, and it's fucking awesome. The match sure does suck, though, and yeah, hated the RAW Chamber. No eliminations for a long time then a lot at once? It's at least different, but still.

The EC PPV was alright; the best match was the EC for the World Heavyweight Title and the worst match was Drew McIntyre versus Kane (The divas put on a better match than the IC match).

Punk during his brief segment just continues to shine as a great heel.

No HBK replacing Morrison but he obviously had a hand in the outcome with Taker losing the title and Jericho winning the championship.

Out of 5 stars, I would give the PPV about 2.5 stars.
