Eww, that wasn't good. That is it, the NFC is Philadelphia and then everyone else... At a neutral site I think no one in the NFC can beat the Eagles but having to go to Philadelphia I just don't see any team that can come close.

McNabb passed for 464 yards with 5 TD's and Zero INT, with two 40+ yard passes for Touchdowns... Philadelphia certainly did run up the score, if you believe in incentive for a future game this is certainly it. Don't know if it'll do any good, The Pack just doesn't have the secondary to stop a strong passing offense.

How exactly did we run up the score when we only took field goals the whole second half? The Packers D was just that bad the in the second quarter one of the worst showings I have ever seen. Right now I honestly don't know how anyone can stop us unless McNabb gets hurt. If you double team TO we can swing it to Westbrook if you cover him too we have LJ and Pinkston to give it to. I have never been more happy to be wrong about a game as this really does look like our year. Mad props to Andy Reid for becoming the winningest coach in Eagles history yesterday (something I never thought I would say when he was hired) now all we need is one more TO TD and we will see Andy in tights!

I originally thought that they did run the score up, but reading quotes and listening to McNabb and others talk after the game, I really don't have a problem with it.

I guess the Pack gave Philly plenty of bulletin board material throughout the week, and the national media did as well (Merril Hoge, anyone?). Then the actions of Al Harris and that linebacker (Barnett?) supposedly got everybody real fired up. Not that you're supposed to roll over and die when you're losing by 4 TDs, but it was getting obvious that Harris was trying to hurt somebody and Barnett really shouldn't be dancing around after a tackle for a 4 yard loss when the whole LB corp got killed by Westbrook all day.

Plus, if you read stuff on Andy Reid, he loves Favre, and is afraid of him. It makes sense that he wouldn't pull Donovan until Favre left the game, because Favre can do amazing things with the ball, and nobody wants to be the victim of a comeback like that.

Yeesh. I really had a bad feeling about that one as well.

I don't go along with the thinking that the NFC's gonna be a cake-walk come playoff time, but it sure does send a message out that when everything clicks, we can be pretty damned tough to stop.

Westbrook showed just how important he is to the team
with his receiving out of the backfield, Owens was huge, and Smith and Pinkston were good in support.

Did we pile it on? A little, but not too much.

Two games up on Atlanta, first week bye secured. Tis a good week

BWT, YOU KNOW WHAT. You're right, I stand corrected. When I saw that state during the game saying 460 yards passing in a winning effort, I thought "When do you stop the air attack?". But thinking back now they did pull the foot off the pedal later in the game... But you have to understand after that 2nd quarter I was pretty numb for the second half.

Amen to that! We couldn't stop anyone. The only thing that I could take issue with was leaving the starters in as long as they were, but who cares? We sucked, as well as Philly playing great (not trying to take anything away from the Eagles).

First of all, whoever decided UGA should have been favored that heavily against WVU just because it was practically a home game was smoking some good stuff. WVU was a really good team that year.
