I wonder if that game will ever show up on the Virtual Console. ;)

Anyone know if Cena gets creative control over his shirt merchandise ideas like Austin used to? Just asking because I can't see the same people that have put out the last few years worth of garbage shirts coming up with this. | DJ FrostyFreeze

Agreed.
I'm guessing he at least gets input on his stuff, considering a lot of it has the same "This will be funny for people like me who grew up on the 80's theme to them ("Bad Bad Man" video, Pumping up his Reeboks before top rope moves, wearing those Mario Bros. "1UP" wrist bands, his trucker hat with the old Double-W block logo, etc).

I'd wear that.
I don't think I've ever said that about any wrestling shirt up to this point.

That being said, it is very awesome and I would subtly jealous of anyone I knew wearing it.

Actually I think the shirts have gotten better again. The current crop of Edge and Orton shirts and the latest HBK ones are pretty nice. Cool designs, crests and what not. Not -always- an obvious wrestlers logo, catchphrase or *shiver* face
Then of course there's still the other type of atrocity like the HHH 'all around' shirt (which works forthe Edge sex & violence shirt but not the Hunter one)

It probably won't matter, they love him whatever he does. He is their hero, they will think it is cool because he wears it, even if they don't know what it means. Plus, kids know how to Google.
Maybe this is a way to make him more appealing to fans in their 30s, like me? It does earn him a few points for sure.
