That is indeed an awesome design. I think they even could have gotten away with selling the two designs as separate shirts.

I wonder if that game will ever show up on the Virtual Console. ;)

All I need is a belt to prove it and I'll be set!

Where's the annoying WWE logo gonna go?

I only own one wrestling shirt. The blue Kaientai Evil/Indeed one.

I now have found my 2nd shirt.

Wow, I can't even describe how much cooler this shirt is than just about any other shirt they've ever made with only a couple exceptions.

Anyone know if Cena gets creative control over his shirt merchandise ideas like Austin used to? Just asking because I can't see the same people that have put out the last few years worth of garbage shirts coming up with this.

Agreed.

I'm guessing he at least gets input on his stuff, considering a lot of it has the same "This will be funny for people like me who grew up on the 80's theme to them ("Bad Bad Man" video, Pumping up his Reeboks before top rope moves, wearing those Mario Bros. "1UP" wrist bands, his trucker hat with the old Double-W block logo, etc).

I...

I'd wear that.

I don't think I've ever said that about any wrestling shirt up to this point.

I would never, ever wear it, because my preference is towards subtle shirts that look cool enough even after a closer look, and that doesn't quite fit the bill. That being said, it is very awesome and I would subtly jealous of anyone I knew wearing it.

I really like the shirt ... I wouldn't wear it in public, but I like it.

I never understood the whole "You can't see me" thing. Am I old and just not getting it?

While I like the shirt as a concept, I only really like the design with the button sequence. I'd wear a shirt with only that on it, but not the whole thing. And it can't be black.

That is a great shirt.

I might have to order it, and well, I've only had one WWE shirt before now.

Nicely done.

It is a cool shirt, but does John Cena actually have fans that are old enough to remember Pro Wrestling on the NES? Or the NES, for that matter?

I love that it says SPORTS entertainment system, and they've even parodied the Nintendo seal of quality. I've pretty much abandoned wrestling as of late, but, well, I may still have to buy this...

Actually I think the shirts have gotten better again.
The current crop of Edge and Orton shirts and the latest HBK ones are pretty nice.
Cool designs, crests and what not.
Not -always- an obvious wrestlers logo, catchphrase or *shiver* face

Then of course there's still the other type of atrocity like the HHH 'all around' shirt (which works forthe Edge sex & violence shirt but not the Hunter one)

*sigh* Why bother?

It probably won't matter, they love him whatever he does. He is their hero, they will think it is cool because he wears it, even if they don't know what it means. Plus, kids know how to Google.

Maybe this is a way to make him more appealing to fans in their 30s, like me? It does earn him a few points for sure.

Man, that's a cool shirt. I own a number of wrestling shirts, including an original DX shirt and a nWo shirt that's half "Hollywood" and half "Wolfpak". This is officially my favorite.

I can't wait to buy this!

I still haven't found what I'm looking for...

I agree. There are a lot of negatives that stem from the brand split, but there are also a ton of postives. Mainly, half the guys on the roster would probably be gone right now.
