SPOIILER FREE THREAD By spoiler free, I mean let's only discuss what's aired in the US thus far.
So I was right, Kioji IS Schwartz. Were Kioji and Schwartz ever seen in the same place same time? Or did Schwartz appear in the highlands right after the Dark Gundam was trashed? Are there two Kioji droids? I need to get this straight.
Sai and Argo are dead? Chibbity BETTER live DAMMIT!
It started out slow, but it sure as hell picked up didn't it?
It's on at 4:00 PM(central time) Mon-Thur on Cartoon Network. I only saw the first five episodes, so I'm at a loss for this conversation.
"NO! NO NO NO NO NO!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE! I AM NOT A JOKE! I AM SERIOUS! AND YOU WILL NOT LOOK PAST ME, YOU STUPID SON OF A BITCH!"-a tearful Chris Jericho. Your ego has just been *CRUSHED*Courtesy of The Renegade
Well, it's not as simple as Kyoji and Schwartz being the same person, but we'll take that up Monday. For now, YES that was Kyoji hanging out of the busted Dark Gundam a few episodes back, and YES that's Kyoji piloting Shadow Gundam. You want the explanation (since I'm abiding by the rules and spoling nothing) you'll have to ask me off thread.
Yes, they were together in the Guyana Highlands--There's a scene where Schwartz is leaving Domon (because he's being a prick--this will not be a big shock to the people who've watched. . .erm, more than 5 episodes) he flies by Kyoji as he stands on the Dark Gundam and they stare at each other.
But for those who watched the show and know German they probably figured out the Schwartz/Kyoji connexion the minute they heard Scwartz's name.
And I'm not saying anything about who lived and who dies but things looked pretty final for Chibodee and George today, didn't they?
Ain't the Grand Gundam the fugliest thing you've ever seen? Truly a hoss.
I hate that we're back to four episodes a week, but by the middle of the week after next we'll be at the home stretch. And we open up with a bang Monday. Not spoiling anything here but Monday's episode? One of the best in the series.
And as for the "Adult Swim" Gundam, I wouldn;t mind them re-running "0080" for a change. . .or starting "Zeta," which given it's really dark tone is a natural for "Adult Swim."
EDIT: Hey, looks like we get blessed--starting Monday we get TWO "G Gundam eps from 5-6 EST. So it probably won't take us very long to get to the finale now

Does anyone know if cartoon network will repeat the series after the finale? I'd love to watch, but if it's nearing the end maybe I should just wait until it starts over so I don't just drop in at the end. I did that with 0083 and had NO idea what the heck was going on. At least that's started to repeat as of last week.

This'll REALLY make your head explode--0083 is a continuity insert between the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" and "Zeta Gundam." Plus 0083 changes direction afer #7 so even those of us who watched it all the way through were a little lost.
As for "G Gundam" being repeated, I think it's a safe bet. For the next week CN's running eps back to back and from all indications it's a reasonably big hit so I think another run through (at least) is a distinct possibility.
Got this from the E! Online "First Look" news section ... HE'S TALKIN' TO YOU: Five classic Martin Scorsese movies debuting on DVD Aug. 17, including special editions of Goodfellas and Mean Streets. Also getting released:
