You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.

"...others say my mom sucked 3,000 dicks." (Nag)

CNN (cnn.com) confirms that Yasser Arafat has just died tonight in Paris. So's the local NBC affiliate and CNN International.

DEAN's Nuggets of Wisdom:

"I don't want him to die. I just want him to NEED my PEE." (as seen here)

And even more questions are left unanswered, such as "Where is the money??" and "What's next?"

Still, he managed to hold things together in the Palestinian region for a while, so...good for him.

This is sad news, regardless of whether you support him or not.

Damn CNN's website for requesting payment to show the official announcement.

We do not have to think he was a wonderful person, yet can still not be happy at his death. There's this balance here.

For me, his death means the end of the possibility he could be transformed into a loving man, which I believe God can do to all people. But I'm odd like that.

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I kinda wish you'd opted for "say nothing at all" but I guess it's your karma.

EDIT: Wow, your edits somehow made your post even stupider. Think I'll just delete it and save us all some grief

Granted the site is a bit biased, but, is THIS the kind of person who deserves to be treated like a respected head of state?

I take it none of us think Israel is the wronged party in all this? Arafat wasn't a great leader, and in fact he harmed his own people by being so conciliatory with the Zionists for no real reward. Hamas will have a field day with this.

Arafat actually won the Noble Peace Prize in 94, things seem to be going well during the Clinton era. Didn't last long.

I never thought I'd ever again agree with a piece in the NY Times magazine, but the concept of speed limits being dangerous has always intrigued me in the sense that death rates do, in fact, go up with lower and lower speed limits.
