| #1 Posted on 30.9.02 1035.01 | Well, "Turnover" Tommy took over for Kordell yesterday, and led the Steelers to a controversial win. Is this the end for Kordell Stewart? What are they going to do with this guy? I never thought he was a very good quarterback since he left Colorado. But I don't know what they do with him now. The Steelers already have a converted college quarterback at receiver.

Kordell can always play Wide Receiver,or Punter.

Maybe Kordell could revolutionize the Punter position like Deion did for the Cornerback position.

Wow Deion revolutionized the corner position? I'll be damned. I didn't know NOT TACKLING revolutionized a defensive position. Sanders was a hell of an athlete, but in their prime Deion could not hold the jock of Rod Woodson or Aneus Williams. Not only could they cover people, but they could hit like a linebackers.
Anyway You can count me in the 99% of Blitzburgh Fans who loathe #10. Kordell was fine as Slash, but he is not the type of QB you can ride to Championship. What Pittsburgh needs is a solid pocket passer who has incredible field vision and is able move through his progressions without getting antsy to run.
I like Plaxico and all, but I felt like the Steelers made a mistake not drafting Chad Pennington 3 years ago and taking Burress. Pennington is a kid who is smart and will be a solid NFL QB someday. The Jets got a steal, he may take some knocks this year, but he will be good in the long run for the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets.
Pittsburgh should throw the rest of it's games this year and draft Byron Leftwich!

Well, let me just put it this way. Its a good thing Maddox is starting.

You know, even though they lost, 250+ yards, 3TDs, 1 INT, 1 FUM and 1 2PT is better than what they've had. They'll win against Cincy.

| #17 Posted on 7.10.02 0650.39 | The Tommy Gun looked good under center yesterday. I think we may have found ourselves a Quarterback. The question is now, what the hell happened to our defense? Is Kendrell Bell being out throwing off the whole rhythm and timing of the defense? I wouldn't think so. We stopped the pass okay yesterday, it was the run we seemed to have the most problems with. Take away McAllister's 54 TD run and the Steelers win. Wake up Blitzburgh!

Maybe, maybe not. From this weekend's "Inside The NFL" on HBO (sarcasm almost implied):
Cris Collinsworth: Now what has Tommy Maddox done in his career to make you think he's going to come in now, as a starter... Dan Marino: He's the XFL MVP! Bob Costas: On that basis, if Tagliabue falters, Vince McMahon should be the Commissioner!
