This is the last RBN song on the original RBN platform. The forthcoming Rock Band Network songs will have keyboards, pro drums, and vocal harmonies, and will only be compatible with Rock Band 3. Not sure when those songs will be coming - I think they were supposed to have launched a while ago.
Xbox Live Labs (Thursday) - via Joystiq:
Microsoft has just rolled out a new testing app for Xbox Live in the US called "Xbox Live Labs." The downloadable app, available through March 27, consists of a series of network tests, during which you won't be able to run games or movies.
What do you get for your time, besides a potentially improved online service? Each completed test will award a unique zero-point Achievement and an item of Avatar clothing, including a lab coat, brain helmet, or mad scientist hair, even though this science seems pretty mellow.
You can find Xbox Live Labs in the community channel.
Without trying to be funny, and without lingering on how horrible the commercial was... it's a run-and-explore Mario game. Isn't that generally sufficient information for most gamers to know whether they'll like it or not?
