Hardware (last week) - The standalone 250 GB HDD is out now, and the 120 GB model has been discontinued. If you can still find one, it should be on sale for a price that's still way too high.

Apparently the Stimulus Package was having some major launch-day issues, but they've been resolved now. Anybody pick it up? I have a major problem with the steep price point, especially since you get so much content for Bad Company 2 for the same price (the VIP thing has released two map packs so far, and the game hasn't even been out a month). Unfortunately with online games, you're almost forced to buy every map pack released regardless of the price or you'll be stuck in an endless vortex of lobbies while only your friends can move on to the next game on one of the new maps. It's such a frustrating business model, and one that I'm sure is largely successful and will be going nowhere. Grr, argh...
