I bought Deadly Premonition because hey, it sells for $20 and trades for $10, and....it's one of the weirdest games I've ever played. A bit Silent Hill, a bit Fatal Frame, a WHOLE lot of bizarre. Worth a look if you like survival horror, if only to kill time until Dead Space 2.
Sonic & Sega is a good alternative for people who don't own Mario Kart. It's polished, fun, and has online play without the need for tedious friend codes.
And the new Force Unleashed DLC is AWESOME and made me thankful I held onto my copy. Is anyone still playing this dinosaur? I thought it was really underrated when it came out, and the new content is a lot of fun.
Next week, Battlefield hits, and finally maybe people will take the Modern Warfare 2 discs out of their systems for a bit. The demo was great, and it's getting good reviews all over the place.
Also, Major League Baseball 2K10 just released a demo this week, and their new pitching controls are interesting, but wayyy too touchy for my tastes. It just made me more excited for The Show 2010.
Indeed. Gone are the days of Turn Based battles (which I really enjoyed). I was never a huge fan of the Active Time Battle system, but I've given up my stance against it, I guess. It makes decisions (like using special abilities or items)
