WAT. Fire Pro Wrestling - a 3D wrestling game using Avatars - was announced about a million years ago. It looked nothing like classic Fire Pro and as far as I knew, the project had been shelved. And now here it is with zero promotion. I'll be sure to give this a try but my expectations are low.
I still think TNA should licence Fire Pro for their next game. I'd love an HD Fire Pro game, development would be relatively cheap, digital distribution would help keep costs down too, and the kajillion CAW slots and other customization options would keep the game fresh. Dermody, make this happen.

The two games are fully independent of one another -- you can play Vice City without any knowledge of the predecessor, though you'll miss many of the in-jokes if you do. The game engines are structurally similar; think of Vice as GTA3.
