I think that's supposed to be Emma Frost. She got a diamond skin during Grant Morrison's X-Men run because he couldn;t use Colossus.

I'm really hoping the guy playing Gambit really steps up to the plate and steals the show. I've been waiting a long time to see Gambit portrayed properly on screen. | oldschoolhero

If so they did really good with the obese guy. I don't know who he is but I remember seeing an obese guy with the Uncanny.
Was that a young Sabertooth? I too am excited about Gambit....I don't know if they cast the right guy though. Wasn't Harry Connick Jr available?...Don't ask, I've always imagined him as Gambit.
Nonetheless, looks good. | Matt Tracker

The obese guy is probably Blob, a longtime member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
In the '90s, Wolverine's pre-X-Men days with the Weapon X department were shown to include a strike force that included mutants. This is probably the team from the movie.
The Uncanny X-men was the comic that began in the '60s which introduced the X-Men. It's still going today. It just passed the4 500-issue mark.

We see Storm, but we don't know if she sees Wolverine.
Knowing the comic book history between Storm and Gambit, she was probably just hanging out with him. I doubt they'll bring in the whole Nanny storyline.

Harry is the kind of guy you'd want to date your sister. Gambit, not so much.
