| #21 Posted on 9.4.03 2240.08 | Briggs had two upgrades, and Proof had two. I can't remember if Tank had one or two. Spider, however, never upgraded his moveset for me. Of course, I did throw a whole bunch of stat points his way after the very first match, so maybe he upgraded and I didn't notice.

For the handicap match, I actually beat it the first time I was there. I knocked out House. DMX was the one that made me throw my controller several times. Once I hit him with THREE specials and that still didn't knock him out. He made the superhuman comeback and knocked me out with ONE of his.
I invented new words to shout that day.

| #24 Posted on 10.4.03 1653.56 | If the 'Danger' sign stops flashing before you trigger your finisher animation (which you don't know until it actually stops flashing) you won't get a KO. Most finishers have a few setup moves before the big one, and these moves all take down the energy level, making it go into danger again. So it looks like the guy was in Danger all the time, but he actually wasn't.

Yep. Which is why I heartily endorse milking the time they give you. Your bar starts flashing? Do a strong grapple, or a combo, before you fire up. Once you're blazin'? Lay 'em out again, just to be sure. You get plenty of time, why waste it?
