The next WWF Weakest Link contestants are:
Steve Austin
Debra
Chris Jericho
Jerry Lawler
Edge
Buh-Buh Ray Dudley
D-Von Dudley
Terri
Place your bets folks. If the last one is any indication - Austin has this one wrapped up. I hope he "What?"s the HELL outta Anne Robinson.

Anne: "**blahblahblahblah?" Austin: "What?" Anne: "**blahblahblahblah?" Austin: "What?" Anne: "**blahblahblahblah?" Austin: "What?" until the time is up. And STILL everybody votes for Jericho, because you know...he isn't over or something *grin*
I'd expect Buhbuh Ray and D-Von to do okay. Outside the ring they seem like smart guys. I also wonder what Anne has to ask them about Dudleyville..

Taker's creepy ass staring down Anne for a good ten minutes or so until little English turds start falling from her Coat Of Androgeny would be worth it alone.

I dunno, he APPEARS fairly together upstairs.
I just hope to god we don't get a repeat of last time and see Debra vs. Austin in the finals.

| #10 Posted on 26.1.02 1249.04 | Wow, this group is worst than the last one to me. I agree that Stone Cold will probably get this one. I hope Debra and Terri are the first ones out (of both this and the WWF!).
Lawler is probably there for bad comedy relief.
The Rock wasn't in the first one was he? Guess they are saving him for part 3?
I still think they should put Raven in one and let him totally destroy everyone.

| #11 Posted on 26.1.02 1535.00 | Ya know, maybe it's just me, but I'm not so excited about this lineup for "Weakest Link." With the last one, we had "the obvious choices" - Triple H and Stephanie. Then we had some dark horse candidates - William Regal, who seems like a fairly smart guy. Even Trish, who went to medical school, seemed like she might have a shot.
Posted by Excalibur05: "I'll watch this to hear the verbal punking out of Jerry Lawler."
Agreed. I'm just waiting for him to make some puppies remark to show how immature and stupid he really is. Of course, what I'd really mark out for would be if once he's voted off, the host calls him "King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime." (FNM, 1995)
Nothing personal, but with goon gimmicks, I can't picture D-Von or Bubba coming anywhere near winning. And as long as I seem to be making stereotypical and/or sexist/racist comments, I don't see Terri or Debra doing lasting long. Neither of them strikes me as rocket scientists. And if Austin goes into "WHUT!" mode, I will change the fucking channel.
If you'll pardon a little fantasy booking, if I were booking my dream "WWF Weakest Link" show, then I'd forget big names and go for someone who might actually do well: Triple H (first WWF Weakest Link winner) William Regal (did well in the first WWF Weakest Link) D'Lo Brown (the former accountant) Raven (everyone seems to think he's pretty smart) Mick Foley (authored his own books - hopefully, the concussions won't hamper him) Val Venis (seems somewhat coherent and intelligent about politics) Linda McMahon (a shrewd businesswoman) Bradshaw (done well in the stock market, understands business and finance)
Maybe we could substitute a pick for Clarence Mason.

Dude..what does Goon gimmick have to do with being in the weakest link. I don't think anybody was in character during the questions round.. I have seen/heard the Dudleyz at axxess and Damn, Buhbuh came across as a very smart guy. Same goes for D-Von.. Now I am not saying they know everything about politics, music, movies, history, math or whatever they ask, but they stand a chance (not taking in consideration the political voting that goes on in that show)
I could imagine Foley doing well, as he seems to know what goes on around him. Being a good businessman/woman however might not help you one bit on a show where questions can be "'which boyband had hits with 'hanging tough' and 'step by step'? "

| #15 Posted on 27.1.02 2152.33 | Hey I thought Trish was cute last time she had a bit of a brain freeze and came back with a pretty witty line.
Remember Lita didn't know the "canadian singer that sang working for the weekends"... Ohh Jericho would definitly know any 80 Candadian rockers. Loverboy bay-bee.
It'll be interesting if Deb/Austin working as a team would be like H/Steph.
I think Jericho and Edge are pretty smart
I want Lilian in there, oh well.. Good thing Test isnt' in there.

It should be fun to watch tho.

Agreed, I hope to god none of the Canadians this time pull that. I mean hey if Trish is, or wants to look like a Ditz, then by all means, more power to you sweetheart, but don't try and blame it on your nationality like that, especially since every fellow Canadian I asked got it right.
As for Regal, I noticed he was good on general questions and more educated type subjects, but he got hammered by pop culture questions and stuff about TV shows, which would have been a perfect time for him to shout "LIKE YOU I'M BRITISH YOU SILLY WENCH, I WAS IN MANCHESTER DOING A CARNIVAL WHILE THIS NATION SAT SLACK JAWED WATCHING GILLIGAN ON THE BLOODY ISLAND!"
It could be interesting to see which of these guys really has a brain.
BUT WHO WILL EARN THE TITLE OF DUMBEST BLONDE? Edge, Debra, Jericho?
