These were Canadian versions of "WWF Wrestling Challenge," if I recall - you might have more luck finding tape traderse by searching under that title - unless you're REALLY into Billy Red Lyons? :)

And who WASN'T into Billy Red back in the day?

Yeah, its exactly what CRZ said. They were reformatted versions of Wrestling Challenge, slipping the odd segment in there from another program, and the local event spots (plus the "Money For Nothing" music in the opening segment).

I think you're thinking of "Maple Leaf Wrestling", which used to air Saturday nights on CH-CH out of Hamilton, Ontario. Trust me, you don't want those matches.... clipped to death, never very good.

Hey, I liked those shows. I'd fight to stay up to 11:30pm to stand beside my TV and manipulate the antennae on my TV just so that I could watch it.

Those were the days.

If Foley were still in the WWE, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this still made the cut just so he could do commentary on it. What's Black Saturday? (Oh, hey, I'm on the Internet and can probably look that up for myself.
