Yeah, this was a great read, and always surreal to see Chikara mentioned in a WWE.com article. After hearing her name forever, I saw what I believe was one of her last indie matches before she joined WWE (for Chikara actually) and she was awesome.
Loved this article. Especially enjoyed getting Cesaro to weigh in. Their relationship and the fact that he spends a lot of time down in Florida at NXT added a nice wink and a nod to two extremely kick-ass performers.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend one of the only non-ROH shows she worked in my area. One of the wrestlers from that show told a story on Facebook about how she helped to set up the ring even though she didn't have to...cool statement about her work ethic.
Andre, Piper, Orndorff or any of those other guys Hogan drew big money with were big. But they weren't main eventers consistently. Everyone, in those days, was moved up, worked with Hogan, then moved down. That's how it worked.
