Georgiann Makropoulos over at 1W is reporting that a Four Horsemen DVD is going to be coming out. Apparently Ric Flair said so at the WWE Hall of fame dinner on Saturday. This could be such a awesome thing. I really hope they include the part on WCW Nitro when Flair returned and was in the ring with Arn, Dean, Benoit, and Mongo in the suits for Flair's return to WCW.

That's on the Monday Night War DVD, which is really good! I recommend it!
Hell, yeah. If they do this right, this could be the greatest DVD they've ever done. And after watching the Ric Flair DVD, that'll really be saying something.

Screw the Benoit and Melenko version, GIMME PAUL ROMA! Just kidding, I bet they could do a TON with the old ORIGINAL Four Horsemen. Besides, any time I can see Dusty get his leg broken, I am a happy happy man!

But this is a great piece of news.
Damn, being out of work I miss a lot with no $$$$. One question, is it in full or cut up?

It's cut up in the feature and there in full as an extra. In case you wonder, it's still as awesome today as it was five and a half years ago.
It's not entirely in full. It starts from right after Arn's called Mongo, Benoit, and Malenko into the ring. It still does have Arn's explanation to each why they're Horsemen material, tho.

A Four Horsemen DVD would be pretty good. I'm hoping that they'll eventually do some year in reviews DVD's which cover all the big anlges that happened in WWF, WCW and ECW. Don't know if that would ever happen though.
One of the few good points about the WWE buying out the competition is that we are getting this great retrospective DVD's like the Flair, Monday Night War and Steelcage one's. Lets hope there's plenty more..
Hopefully it will have some of the good stuff from when the Horsemen feuded with the Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes & Nikita Koloff ... damn those were the days.

Five words: Dusty Rhodes parking lot attack.
Also, if it doesn't have the 1987 Atlanta Wargames match on there, no sale.
i hope it shows alto of the last 95 verson of flair, arn, pillman, benoit. if nwo never happened and pillman stuck around, didnt't get in accident, die etc, i laways thought that incarnation had the potenial to be great.
Fuckin' rights, I already got half a fuckin' buzz on
As in the Flair DVD, the incident in the Omni where Dusty has his leg broken. Ole and Arn destroying Magnum T.A. in the locker room in '85. Ricky Morton having his face run against a sewer grate in '86. Tully/Arn vs. Rock 'n Roll Express, September '87, when the Midnight Express took Morton to divorce court before the match. WARGAMES from '87 and '90. Tully vs. Dusty for National Title in '86 (mainly because Flair did color on the match). Parking Lot attack. Windham turn on Luger (entire match). Crockett Cup final '87 (Horsemen lose, but it is the return of Magnum T.A. from the car crash).

You know what? Bobby Eaton's Hammerlock DDT submission is a finisher just waiting for a new owner.

Also the great hoax in which Barry Windham dressed like Sting during a Flair/Sting match.
I would love to see the NWO's Horseman spoof as a bonus maybe.

That was against Sid....and I wouldn't put that on a highlight reel regardless.
While I hope the DVD focuses mainly on the '80s version (the best version), I hope that put some stuff in there with Brian Pillman as the 'Loose Cannon'. That's probably my favorite pro-wrestling character ever.
I think his gimmick should be modeled on his real life...didn't he serve time in military prison for being AWOL? A real blue chipper. He's a great choice for a push.
