It could be a main event in any arena in the world, and to prove it, it's the main event of tonight's show - it's the enthralling matchup of JUSTIN GABRIEL vs. JINDER MAHAL!
ALSO: When seasons of NXT collide: ALEX RILEY vs. MICHAEL McGILLICUTTY! It wouldn't be Superstars if I wasn't typing out a matchup like MASON RYAN vs. TYLER REKS! All this PLUS a RAW REBOUND!
I'll give @WWE this much: with tonight's episode, the bookers have managed to put together a show where I can't say I'm certain about who will be the victor in ANY of these matches.

Well, except for the still shot they used which totally gives away the main event - THANKS WWE DIGITAL
(Also: So weird seeing a scant 35 minutes on this video after last week's went 58)
I believe Mason Ryan had a strong-looking Rumble run canceled for one of the cameos. Which I am fine with. The acceptance of the Ryan and Zeke pushes of 2011 flopping is one of the most meritocratic things to happen in WWE in a good long while.

I noticed that on NXT. I think they did the polite thing and took out a lot of the many, many ads. Which means that, yes, a third of the show was ads. Not including the Raw Rebound, which stays for some reason. I guess so they can promo it at the desk afterwards.

Oh, I totally agree. The Zeke one was so, so weird, though. Give him the IC title, then bury him immediately. Was his title-winning match with Barrett really any worse than the others he'd had before then?
I was just thinking the same thing. And unless things have changed for the better in terms of Soap Opera storylines since the last time I watched, the WWE may be able to contend for a daytime Emmy.
