-You can't spit on someone if their name is Cena.
Except that Cena voiced his disapproval of Danielson's firing and the same thing would have most likely occurred had it been anyone else in Cena's place.
-You can't use the piledriver because of Austin (even though HE used it on Angle multiple times during their feud).
And plenty of other people have used it since then, as well.
-You can't have long blonde hair because of HHH.
I'm sure Edge will be interested to learn of this. As will Curt Hawkins.

Or Lance! Or Milena! You probably can't call yourself Cody, either. Or Dolph. (Not that anyone would want to.)
-You can't use a Tombstone unless your name is Undertaker, and only then occasionally.
Or Kane. You probably can't use the Pedigree, either. Or the Attitude Adjustment. Or the Shooting Star Press. Or the Masterlock. Maybe even the Sleeper! Unless you're feuding with the person for whom that move is the finisher and you're using it on them to be a dick.
I don't think there's any punishment for bleeding, though, unless it's intentional. But hey, the state in which Money In The Bank is being held explicitly forbids intentional bleeding in a professional wrestling match. (They also forbid using real animal blood to simulate bleeding. I truly hope they simply thought to include that when forbidding the use of human blood and that it wasn't actually an issue at some point.)
There's one thing the WWE doesn't control, however, despite the impression you might get from so many posts. They don't control your remote!

| #22 Posted on 7.7.10 2039.44 | Instant Rating: 1.58 | Ah yes, the magical 'banned list'. I'm pretty much with InVerse on this one. We do hear a lot about moves being banned, while this may be true on some fronts overall it could just be phased out of most peoples movesets right now.
It's like saying the Stunner and Rock Bottom are banned.
The only thing I recall being specifically mentioned as being banned (ie WWE Corporate had a PR on it) was chair shots to the head.
Unless someone here works for the WWE, or the WWE themselves issue a PR we won't know the real reason behind the 'chop ban', or if there is an actual banned move list.
I've heard several times that these banned moves can only be performed by certain individuals as long as they can prove that they can do the move successfully, safely, and cleanly. (**cough**undertakertombstone**cough**) Again that is just rumor though. No ones come out with a photocopy off any list on WWE letterhead. Hey maybe it was instituted so we don't have a repeat of Brock's WM XIX SSP.

I recall reading on some NEWZ websites that they had Bourne do the SSP several times to make sure he could hit it safely.

Because of Kidman's string of broken noses and bones, Bourne had to perform it on Vince to prove it safe. That's probably new.

I seem to recall hearing that John Morrison has forced to remove the standing Shooting Star Press from his arsenal as well. I know it made a return for awhile on Smackdown but I don't think he's used it for quite some time, presumably due to Evan Bourne's rise in prominence.
And let's give Bourne credit. He sticks the move every single time. I don't think I've ever seen him even slightly off target. The same goes for Justin Gabriel and the 450 Splash.
Now if only they held John Morrison to the same standard. If he were to do the Starship Pain a dozen times in succession, I wonder if he'd manage to hit it accurately twice in a row? | CEOIII

I think he'd be lucky to hit it accurately twice. Can we have the Moonlight Drive back, please?
