She has gone by Amazing Kong on the indies for years now.
Good for her. Sad to see her leave the indies as it means she won't be at the next SHIMMER tapings, but she's wanted to get to WWE for a while now, so I hope she does great there.

Is a name like Black Bertha worse than "Awesome/Amazing Kong"? She's a huge black woman. The name invokes King Kong, a huge gorilla. Hmm... A new name and identity would be doing her a favor.

The Knockout division started crumbling once she left TNA and it's nowhere near as entertaining now without her killing tiny women in squash matches. I've been badly missing her crazed facial expressions during promos.
I truly hope they use her well. Kong, Natalya, and Beth can create the exciting (and less botch-heavy) Diva's division dominated by Trish, Lita, Victoria, and Jazz from several years ago. | thecubsfan

I'd get more interested if I believed for a second that WWE was going to stick with skilled wrestlers over "Divas" for more than a few months. Soon as Vince notices workrate in a women's match, you know he'll demand changes.

I'm already having flashbacks to January 1996 when Vader arrived in the WWF and went right after Yokozuna. Vader power bombed then WWF President Gorilla Monsoon the next night on RAW and was the biggest heel in the world. Then all that momentum quickly petered out and a year and a half later, Vader was on PPV calling himself a big fat piece of shit. History of that fashion need not repeat itself.
