I haven't put one of these up in forever, mostly because by the time I notice we had any, it's long gone, BUT a mere half hour ago we tracked a search from WWE offices for...

wait for it...

Juventud Guerrera! (Or more accurately, "juventud+Guerrera" because hitting the shift key more than once is HARD)

They used Yahoo! and ended up at this recap by HomerJFong (The W), which was result number 21, putting it on page 3 of the Y! search results. HUZZAH

And so... another glimpse into the mind of someone very board and performing web searches from within the Titan Towers.

Homonyms are fun.

Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.

Ah, shit, I made the same spelling mistake they did. Kinda buries the subtlety of the point I ended up not making, doesn't it.

I believe Bob Barnett, over on DVDMB, said something along the lines of they're signing Juvi, the only hold up is trying to find pictures of his old mask. So someone needs to teach WWE monkeys how to use google image search, I guess.

They own the WCW library, and can't find any pictures of his mask? They're in contact with Juventud, and can't find any pictures of his mask?!?!?

Thanks for a great season, Pick of the Week fans...see you this fall at Planet Magic in Denmark, WI!

Hell, they've got Jericho under contract, and they can't ask him? Didn't he win it in the mask vs. hair match at WCW's Superbrawl VIII in '98?

I dont think you can always look at these searches as "This is what the WWE company is trying to research/look for". This one is probably closer to "This is what one guy who works for WWE happened to search for that day".

That's exactly what Chris said. I don't understand why you made this comment.

Oh, wait...I spelled "Guerrera" correctly, but I misspelled "bored" as "board." NOW I GET IT

Also, my second post in this thread now makes even *less* sense than it did when I was posting it thinking I'd spelled "Guererra" wrong.

Also....never mind

People kept asking/wondering why WWE would need to run internet searches for Juvi's mask when they own WCW's tape library and whatnot, so I got the impression that people thought that the search somehow reflected what the company as a whole was looking for.

I apologize if I missed out on the sarcasm.

Oh, I was referring to Cubs Fan's post, not so much the original post.

CRZ's 2nd post makes much more sense now.
