I can't help but feel like if the PPV had been better I might have been more enthused about watching the show!
(I ended up at a bar which was showing a lot of DDT and old FMW. I probably need to figure out how that dude came to get a monthly night showing this stuff. Also, I'm still not really super into FMW... but it's way more fun to watch with a lot of other people who are a LITTLE more into it than you are.)
Monday's Rusev/Reigns felt like a copy of Sunday's Cesaro/Sheamus, right to the no-contest ending. Reigns was getting a good reaction until he refused to chairshot Rusev. Then he relented a few minutes later and popped him one to a mild cheer. He missed his opportunity.
Sheamus and Cesaro, if they form a team for any length of time, need a manager to speak for them. Their segment with Mick was clumsy.

- Reigns vs. Rusev rematch ends in a no contest, so I guess this feud will continue? Reigns gets the only segment of the show unopposed by debate/football? Hmmm... - Bayley won a jobber match - Sasha and Charlotte are still feuding. They have another title match sometime, I don't remember when. Next week? - Ring crew got a lot of work tonight having to change the ring ropes from red, to purple for a cruiserweight tag match, back to red, back to purple for a Perkins match and then back to red. Perkins got Randy Savage chants which is even lower than CM Punk chants on the "we're bored as shit" meter. - Foley did what several people predicted and made Sheamus and Cesaro tag with each other. They won a jobber match and get their championship opportunity against... - New Day, who beat Anderson and Gallows again. - Main event was Jericho/KO vs. Enzo/Cass. Oh good, a rematch from two PPVs ago instead of the previous night. - Jericho/KO's BFF team is leading to a feud against Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson? - After a thrown together feud with Jericho in which Zayn made the most of by cutting a great promo, Zayn is back off the show with nothing to do. Look for him and Neville on Superstars, I guess.
10 matches of Cesaro/Sheamus leading to an uncontested tie, a tag title shot, and no elevation is the most WWE thing ever, a purgatorial nightmare. This isn't Team Hell No, it's Team Hell If I Know. That and Stephanie telling Foley he was grounded would make for great jumping off points to stop watching this show for a while, but eh, what else am I gonna do.
Oh good, wacky tag team that hates each other. Can't wait for them to break up at let's say the Royal Rumble, then have another best of seven that culminates in the WrestleMania kickoff show.... or has all seven matches in the kickoff show, since it'll be six hours of kickoff by then.
I didn't watch it, mainly because we switched back to cutting the cable cord and going with the various streaming services that we used 95% of the time anyway. The sad thing is that even the condensed 90 minute Hulu version just doesn't appeal to me. SD Live I'll watch every week on there, because I'm more invested in the storylines and characters. Raw... meh. I'm back to just watching the YouTube clips of what interests me again and the monthly specials.
I'm pretty sure the Hype Bros have a better win-loss record than the Club on TV this year.
Can we spin Sasha and Charlotte away from each other for a month or so? I love Sasha and I'm getting bored of this matchup.
I sort of watched it. Had it on the big screen so my 10yo son could watch while I had MNF and the Debate up on my PC screen.
Wasn't a big fan of the rematches from Clash of Champions but put me in the column of liking the Caesaro/Sheamus team as it gives a nice jolt to the suddenly boring RAW tag team division.
My son went to bed at 10 and I recorded the end of RAW but we haven't watched it yet (although I did read the results the next morning).
