I blame the idiots chanting, honestly. Husky Harris was on TV for all of six months, and always as a background stand-around-as-muscle guy. He's completely transformed as a character, and is near unrecognisable physically. This is akin to people chanting "Isaac Yankem" at Kane as he ripped the door off of the Cell back in 1997. Sometimes being a smart-alecky dick is just being a smart-alecky dick, and not mitigated by WWE booking.

I thought they were chanting "Feed Me More" at Punk near the end.

Bryan was the first and last wrestler in the ring last night, and that means something. But the "shades of gray" booking has confused the audience when the match only has faces. Bryan's run-in might have worked better had Orton won and Bryan attacked him. By going right for Punk, Bryan looks like the bad guy. Punk's line about "we're all jerks" needs to be the match motto to remind the audience they are desperate to get the contract.

It's too much to ask that Kane lose his place in the match after the Wyatt beatdown, isn't it? Speaking of Wyatt, he's developed a great gimmick, but I keep thinking how BAD ASS this would have been for Undertaker. He wouldn't have to wrestle, he could play the spooky old man, and he puts over new acolytes.

Sheamus continues to show up for work. He works well against small guys, but those matches have better flow than those in the Rey-Batista feud.

Speaking of McGillicutty, did ANYONE else catch Christian's entrance text below the tron? When he walked out, it said "MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY" for like two seconds, then went to the MITB logo for three seconds, then to "CHRISTIAN".

Every time I see a great Bryan/Sheamus match, I'm always a little annoyed since I can't help but think "god, why didn't they just do this at Wrestlemania 28?"

The Wyatt debut was fantastic. It might be hard to keep these guys heels for too long...Bray Wyatt might be the new Undertaker.

After such a unique buildup, the attacking Kane seemed so pedestrian. Everything else about the debut was pure gold, save for the pointless "asking for directions" skit ("The Wyatt's are thattaway, man!) but that was like 30 seconds.

Was hoping they'd breakup the McMahon bit or at least do something more interesting.

Maddox had some good facial expressions, must've been studying with Regal.

Why do they even have the "MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY" graphics still loaded? One day is Orton going to come out and we'll accidentally see "SIMON DEAN"?

Perhaps, but it seems like this might be building to Wyatts versus the Brothers of Destruction at Summerslam. And that has the potential to put the Wyatts over huge.

This is a byproduct of them jerking around the midcard and not maintaining their tag division which sort of leads to there being no available faces for The Wyatt's to cut their teeth on.

I would have gone with face Big Show over Kane, but Kane makes sense when you look at the roster. I think having them wait and have their debut by attacking RVD (if he is sticking around) would have gotten a good reaction. Having them attack a super face tag team would have been ideal. Have them punk out The Rockers who join forces with Tito Santana only to get mopped up at the PPV, but I am old so what do I know.

I'm guessing they did mean things to Kane to further the Daniel Bryan/Kane break-up. Maybe Daniel Bryan takes advantage of Kane's injuries to win MITB.

That accomplishes a few things. It continues the subtle heel turn that Bryan's been undergoing the past few weeks, presumably with a view to having him be a heel challenger for Cena at SummerSlam (I would have much preferred a face vs face match but Vince knows best, I guess).

It sets up a potential Bryan vs Kane feud down the line. If heel Bryan loses his title shot, then a clean win over a face Kane would be as good a rebound program as any. And if Bryan doesn't turn heel, then Kane costing Bryan the title as retribution for putting the championship before Team Friendship would be an easy way to have Bryan lose without losing too much momentum.

It could also be the launching pad for Kane and Undertaker vs The Wyatt Family at SummerSlam if plans for that rumoured Shield match have been nixed.

Isn't it funny to think that since 2012 we've had a strange role reversal of sorts, with Cena slipping into the 'champion that isn't main eventing' role that Punk was wearing comfortably *last* year.

I hope they keep them "dirty". WWe likes all their wrestlers to have a "clean" look, even the heels.

Do you think Bray Wyatt wrote that promo himself, had a bit of coaching, or was just handed it and he delivered it that way?

Brodie was good back in the day in Chikara. He had an interesting feud with Claudio, as well being a good straight guy for the Olsen Twins comedy (since they were all upstate NY guys).
