Yes, you heard correctly, WWE is threatening to actually hire and pay someone who will attempt to maintain and enforce continuity in the WWE Universe! It's 2019.
It's an intriguing opportunity for a very niche subset of people - I'd like to think I even might be one of them, even with all my really relevant experience coming like 20 years ago - but strongly going against me are my advancing years, an intense desire not to want to relocate to Stamford and a salary expectation that is probably fathoms beyond what WWE thinks they would be able to pay somebody for this gig. (I MIGHT still apply.) (I'm not going to apply.) (WWE recruiters - call me)
My hunch is whoever DOES get the gig immediately gets an over/under line of 90 days, tops. ;-)

The crazy part is that, per Meltzer, they already had someone in the role. So really, this is probably not much - whatever the continuity editor says will ultimately be ignored anyway.

I mean, none of you have actual proof that Triple H supposedly 'holds down people', to use wrestling insider terminology. None of you are backstage. I have yet to see a picture of him holding down someone, figuratively.
