Hope the folks here don't mind me throwing this out there, as it's news more than commentary, but I thought some of you might like to know who is going to be at the final Six Flags show for OVW. The show is this Friday, August 13, and the WWE special guests are Jerry Lawler and Eugene. There's also rumors that Rico may appear in a match as well.

It was mentioned off-air at the OVW show this past Wednesday that Lucy/Daffney will be making an appearance at the show as well. That'll be interesting to see if it turns out true. She was a bit of a fan-favorite in OVW before her WWE contract was canned and she left.

I suspect Lawler will be doing a signing for the fan-club members beforehand. Don't know if any of the others will or not, however.

Does this mean Dinsmore will be using the Eugene persona rather than his OVW persona?

Still pondering why there was no public backlash for Jimmy Hart's advocation of self canibalism on the first Wrestling Album.

Yep. In fact, if you go over to the OVW website and look up the "Superstars," you'll see that the entry for Dinsmore is now listed as "Eugene."

Also, in OVW's storyline, Nick Dinsmore cannot wrestle in OVW. Which is why he was wrestling for a time under a mask as "Mr. Wrestling II" at the Six Flags show this summer

BTW, just to correct something I mentioned above - it appears that Rico will not be appearing at the show on Friday. Instead, he'll be doing a television match this Wednesday with Nova.

This will be interesting to see, as Nova's talked-about new persona for WWE would make him a perfect person to clash with Rico's character on Smackdown.

Looking forward to your show highlights recap Snookum.

I haven't heard about Nova's "new WWE persona." Is it the White Jersey Trash persona he's been playing recently (and very well I might add)? Thanks!

Don't get around the newsboards much do ya?

Nova is doing a fitness guru - Richard Simmons type thing.

They did this recently well few years anyway. Remember "Muffy" ? Stephanie McMahon's had an on air trainer and Nova's gimmick is the male version apparently.

So it's like the 2004 version of Bodydonna Skip?

First off, thanks, Drew! I'm glad you're enjoying the little mini-recaps I've been doing for the Six Flags shows.

As for Nova - it just goes to show the standard mentality at WWE. "Here's a guy getting over in OVW as a dumb bruiser from Jersey . . . let's bring him up and make him a Richard Simmons clone."

Still, a feud between Nova and Rico would be perfect. They're both know how to put on a show and don't have a problem in getting silly if it means making the match better.

Now watch them never meet.

Yeah, I've noticed that he's gotten a little puggy. Ah, well, that's what happens when you're champ for two years and never actually defend it.
