Kurt Angle: Crap! What the hell was that supposed to be?
Lita: Ugh...more Grrl band rawk stuff. Her voice is too flat for the singing.
Dudleys: Probably the best song on that list. Good showing from Bubba; here's hoping D-Von does something than "Uh, Uh" or "Testify on the rest of the song.
Lillian Garcia: Ehhhhh...I'm split on this one. It's OK, I like her voice, and she's really belting it out. But Lita's already doing the Avril Lavigne knockoff here, do we need another?
I'm anticipating this album; I'll take a trip downtown and listen to it there before buying it. This CD might be like the WWF Aggression CD: I didn't care for most of the album, but I bought it because I liked maybe three songs on it.
Lordy lordy...what have I done? Engagement? The horror!
GrubbyLongJohns, your sig rules, first of all. Second, if they really want to break the top 10, why wasn't the Grammy nominated classic Wind Beneath Our Ring in there as a bonus track??
After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure... 1)I'm smarter than I was a year ago. 2)I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II. 3) I'd make an acceptable Mrs. Orton. 1300 bitches and counting....
From the commercial for the album it sounded like Cena's song was his theme song (at least the one they use on SD:HCTP since I dont get UPN I cant confirm if this is in fact his theme song) can anyone confirm that his song on the album is in fact his theme song. Also I think Jericho's will be pretty good.
Mr. Burns: You are of course familiar with our state usury laws? Homer:U-sur-y? Mr. Burns: Oh silly me, I must have just used a word that doesn't exist.
I heard the Trish song, she can actually carry a note pretty well in a Mandy Moore poppy kind of way. The song is pretty pop generic with the "I want you, don't you want me?" story. Who's this insane person who can't commit to Trish?!... Totally coincidental I heard Lillian's song next. I think it's her best song I've ever heard her do. Lillian rules all!...
Kurt's is pretty funny in I think an intently way... Lita's is funny in an unintently way LoL
From what I heard of the Dudleyz, they are probably the most surprising of the bunch. Not bad at all... Like I said when I wrote the track listings when I first heard word of this, I am so going to buy this for the surprisingly good singers and equally for the real bad ones
smark/net attack wienerville advisory is on ORANGE alert - High (Due to Bob Holly WWE Title match, Kliq/Kliq PPV World Title match, Mae Young appearance) 1/6
2003 Smackdown: Matt Hardy = Mattitude Version 1 2004 Raw: Matt Hardy = Marc Mero Version 2
I'm just listening to it now. Yowza. Lotty's right - pile on the cheeeeeeese.
As bad as the Lita sample above is, it is still better than Stacy's song. Mericfully, her entry is over-produced electronic crap as opposed to Stacy trying to sing crap. Trish's is minutely better than those two, but ranking them is like deciding whether to eat of the Burger King or McDonald's dumpster.
I did like Rikishi's though. More stuck-in-head-worthy than the Angle song.
Since the usual suspects (Meltzer et al) appear to have let this news pass them by, I thought I'd post it here. It appears that Hell in a Cell drew approximately 210,000 buys and Bragging Rights drew approx. 140,000 buys.
