Not for nothing, but I wouldn't spend $50 to see CM Punk headline Wrestlemania. Or Jeff Hardy. Or Christian, Regal (since Angle and Benoit aren't available for him to wrestle) or Matt Hardy.
Sorry, But because they have good "workrate" doesn't mean their matches are worth a shit.
Christian couldn't even hold people's attention in TNA.

That was the opposite of the point I was making. Jeff Hardy is a legitimate superstar, though. He's the most popular babyface they have.
I'm fine with Edge finding new ways to scam the title. Every version of his posse has been entertaining and his title runs have always been worthwhile even if they are too short. He's a lot like a Super Villain who always gets what he wants, but can never hold onto it.
The first non WrestleMania PPV I have seen live in a while. I thought it was fine. The crowd seemed really quiet at times, which my sister in law confirmed when she left the arena.
I really didn't like that HBK won and really wanted to see it go another month and end at WM. The matches overall seemed to be running in slow motion. Just felt like it plodded along but overall it was fun to watch.

I think the thing that I hate is that we're right back where we started last year. Out of the 5 people that competed in last year's main events, four of them are main eventing this year's. Randy/HHH is SO played out. Remember when they wrestled each other twice in the same night for the belt? They've been feuding it seems since Randy was kicked out of Evolution.
Edge and Cena feuded for the first 9-10 months of 2006. Would it kill them to try something different rather than rehashing the same old stuff?
There's nothing special or epic about either of these matches. If these actually turn out to be our main events I may not order WM this year for the first time in a long, long time.

That's a pretty cool way of putting it. There's never really been a heel like Edge, in part because there didn't use to be so many ways to cheat for a title other than to use an Illegal Foreign Object. Nowadays you can cash in briefcases or have your wife add you to a match or beat up a dude and lock yourself in his POD.
The cool thing is that WWE has three fantastic heels and they're all different.
Edge - shameless, con man, SNEAKY Jericho - jealous, petty, tells the truth Orton - cruel, remorseless, kicks people in the face

I was waiting for an explanation of this deed before the match started with Vickie coming out to justify stealing Kofi's spot, a la, immediate rematch clause or something. But I guess the pods are up for grabs was the chamber is lowered.
Touching on the Royal Rumble and skinning the cat, I'm very tired of Rey's 619. He must have attempted that thing 15 times during the EC match. And the setups got worse each time, especially with the double-619s.
