I was at that PPV!
Also, El Gigante (spelling?) AKA Giant Gonzalez debuted there.

Signed up after work at about 530 pacific. Works great on my iPad. It works ok on the PS3 but some buffering and choppiness....enough to be annoying. Can't log in on the Xbox 360 at all.

From what I've seen if the content so far, I'm going to be very happy with this.

That makes me feel better. Just got it and tested it on a tablet, and it worked great. Tested it on the 360 and I am unrecognized. So it must be an Xbox/MLB/not WWE problem.

Signed up and am watching on my PC, with a very slow DSL connection, and I haven't had any problems.

Initial observations - for the first five minutes or so, the lag is pretty constant. After five minutes or so, it seems pretty stable.

If you stop watching a show and then go back to it, it doesn't remember where you were like Netflix does, and so forces you to fast forward to where you left off (assuming you can remember).

First thing I really* watched was Great American Bash '90 from around the same time period. What's great here is that it appears to be the initial PPV airing and not the Home Video version. I think I gotta watch Robocop at Capitol Combat again after this.

I only experienced some lag, which could have been my WiFi Network, and also tried streaming it on my Phone at the same time and it appeared to work pretty well for the most part. My AppleTV, though, didn't do quite as well. It seemed to work, but watching on my desktop works the best so far.

What I'd really like to see is that Netflix bookmarking feature and video files arranged by match/chapter so I can skip to where I want. Skipping doesn't seem to be quite there yet. Sometimes I'll click on the progress bar and it won't quite work out or freeze.

Still, a pretty successful launch. I expect things to get better service-wise as things go. What'll be really telling will be WrestleMania 30 and how that plays. It's now dawned on me that I can actually watch PPVs live again in my own home and that'll be a first for me since the early 2000s**.

* - I clicked on WrestleMania 29 just to see how it played first.

** - Okay, I streamed Royal Rumble 2013 last year.

I read on another message board that an Australian was able to sign up by tying their credit card to a Paypal account using an American address provided by USGOBUY.COM - I haven't tested it out (that's my plan tonight) so who knows if it works.

WWE suggesting Canada and other countries getting the service my 2015 is utter horseshit in my opinion.

Tunnelbear maybe?

I subscribed, though that took some effort given the crashing of the site. So far I've only been charged once, but I'm hearing others had some hiccups.

As for the stream, it lags at times. For day 1, though, not too shabby.

I WISH their forward feature on ppvs at least gave some indication with thumbnails of what was coming up - hard to get to something in particular if I've never seen it before.

I subscribed last night (my in-laws have a home in Largo which I used as my home base for my PlayStation profile to get the app, and my address through WWE.com) - but I haven't been able to stream anything. I have used my normal DNS settings, and also altered them to American ones that I have known to work - and nothing so far. I have been getting Media Errors, and constant crashes.

This seems common, and not just limited to Canada - so I'll give it some time to get the hiccups out.

Quick performance recap from my tests on multiple devices:

-The Network is pretty much useless on iPhone over LTE, though I did have fairly poor reception when I was trying it yesterday.

-PS3 has worked the best so far, though some PPVs took 1-2 minutes to start.

-iPad over wi-fi was not working well last night. On Demand streams would not start at all, but the live stream worked OK. I watched all of Wrestlemania Rewind last night, and it never stopped to buffer or anything.

-iPhone over wi-fi was working really well this morning. I watched Tazz's debut from Royal Rumble 2000 while getting ready for work.

-The short rating video (TV-PG, TV-14, etc.) works perfectly EVERY SINGLE TIME.

If/when they add resume and/or chapter select functionality, this thing is going to be BEAUTIFUL.

I have those same devices and would agree with nearly 100% of this. However, my iPad worked fine over wi-fi with VOD. I also watched the inaugural moments of the network on a PC and it worked beautifully. No problems at all for me, except LTE, which was pretty much crap.

EDIT: By the way, best part of watching these RAW Rewinds? The hilarious commercials they had during those times. Saw the Buddy Rose "Blow Away" diet commercial. So damn funny.

When I was watching SummerSlam online yesterday, not right away, but eventually, some chapter markings DID appear on the timeline ribbon corresponding to match beginnings and ends (so if you wanted a Sean Mooney interview or the hilarious "TITAN HOT TICKET" ad, you had to go between those end/beginning points). Unfortunately, the end point descriptions were a little spoiler-ish ("<WRESTLER X> <FINISHING MOVES> <WRESTLER Y>"). And of course, I found nothing equivalent to this on the Roku stream (although DISCLAIMER: I didn't try a lot of streaming last night)

EDIT: Also, this is probably totally a coincidence, but when I got up this morning my Xfinity Internet was down without me having any time to diagnose whether it was the router or something just beyond it.

Finally got on late last night and the first thing I picked was a random WCW PPV (Fall Brawl 1997). First match was Eddie vs. Jericho, so not a bad way to start. I was happy to see that Jericho's old generic face theme music was replaced but his current "Break the Walls Down" theme. However, DDP's great "Self High Five" theme was also replaced.

Watching This is NXT now, God, is Bo Dallas awful.

I tried it on the PS4 to watch the amazingly useless Raw post show. The few Backstage Pass I've watched have been easily more entertaining. The video itself was fine; I could tell it was switching quality levels at one point, but it settled on HD and looked fine.

I used On Demand to watch the This is NXT show and that went fine, but trying a WCW PPV did not work at all. Maybe later.

OK, this seems to be tied to the search function, then. I noticed similar markers like that in the results when I searched for particular wrestlers. I didn't test if clicking on those took me to the particular moment in the PPV.

I've just managed to sign up. I already have a VPN setting on my PS3 via Unblock-Us. I had to set a dummy e-mail account, a US PSN account and I managed to sort out the issue of paying with a UK debit card by taking the following steps:

1. Entered my usual street address up to city level.
2. Took the letters out of my actual postcode leaving the numbers (eg, AB12 3CD becomes 123) and then adding two zeros to make up a zip code.
3. Using a zip code lookup tool to see if that is an actual zip code. If not, go up sequentially until I found a real one.
4. Entering that new zip code and the payment went through.

Thing I just remembered: I'm not sure what Green Bay was promised, but local ads were definitely promoting a dark trios match for next Monday's RAW. Either that's going to be change, or they're going to have to do that postshow show in a different way.

Finally got a chance to sit down and play with this. Still no luck on the 360 and I stall out on the Kindle after about five minutes and then nothing. The computer is an antique, so I am sort of out of luck right now. I probably shouldn't have gotten so excited and waited a few weeks.
