WWE's version of Claire Lynch, one of the more incredible things to happen. Can't wait until the masterminds of Deuces & Nines are revealed to be Beth Phoenix and Tyler Reks.

I don't have enough capital letters and style tags for 3 Man Band Behind The Music. Bring back the six-man tag team titles and give them to them. In fact, bring back all defunct titles and give them to them.

Even though they never draw, I love Survivor Series matches at the Survivor Series. There's some funny intermingled histories amongst the members of those teams, which Punk and Foley acknowledged with a few glances. If I was Randy Orton -- and I do have no absence of malice -- I'd be LOLing at being fricking Ryback's lieutenant.

Did Foley and Punk lose a page of their script in the copier though? They seemed to go from Point A to Point "We Should Have A Big Elimination Match" as a non sequitur.

Strange to see Cena getting transitioned out of the feud with Punk since if he hadn't had the surgery, it was probably supposed to go on all fall. (Would've been funny to see Cena no-sell getting cost HIAC by a referee too.) PPV tag with the nauseating team of Cena and AJ vs. Dolph and Vickie?

Why do they keep putting Wade Barrett in these matches against guys he has to lose to when they could just as easily not and he could lose to them in important matches later?

It's too bad Kelly Kelly stopped coming to work and they didn't have a chance for some woman to randomly fire her backstage for no apparent storyline reason like Beth Phoenix and the Bellas and Chris Jericho.

Yeah, there was no recap from me, because I didn't watch enough of the show. I really can't handle another round of Evil Authority Figure Vickie Guerrero. It's been done to death and that isn't even half the problem here.

Ten months after John Cena, Kane, Eve, and Zack Ryder all but clinched 2012's Worst Angle of the Year, along comes John Cena, Vickie Guerrero, and AJ to challenge it with Claire Lynch Lite. It really does make the original Claire Lynch angle seem tolerable in comparison, especially since Christopher Daniels and Kazarian tried REALLY hard to make that angle even halfway-halfway decent. There's no Daniels or Kaz-type figure to be found here at all. No, I don't count Dolph!

And really, I should give this the Worst Angle nod, just because it's actually making me think, "You know...when you really think about it, that Claire Lynch angle wasn't THAT bad." NO! FAIL!

I also can't believe I'm about to get behind a stable consisting of Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, and Drew McIntyre. But holy cow, these guys have completely turned me around on this angle. They're fantastic!

I'm not a fan of this particular list of guys on each team. Even Foley acknowledged that he's had a feud with Orton and Punk has feuded with both Miz and Del Rio fairly recently before his turn. Hell, Del Rio's the guy who lost the belt to Punk a year ago! A little continuity would be nice here.

And there seems to be someone missing here...hmmm...oh yeah...BROCK LESNAR! You'd think they'd make this one of Brock's dates, especially given that this is one of the Big 4 PPV's, but he's nowhere to be found. They can't be serious about holding him off until Wrestlemania! There's no way!

There was also a nice dueling promo between Sheamus and Big Show. You know, in-between the uncertainty drama with Punk and Ryback and all of the silliness with Vickie, AJ, and Cena, Sheamus/Show has quietly been a really good feud. Yeah, there was a really silly debate segment, but the rest of the feud has been rock solid and that match last night was actually pretty good. God help me, but I'm looking forward to round 2 between these guys!

If you go back, Del Rio is half-heartedly clapping and gritting his teeth when they all applaud for Punk's one-year anniversary as champion, and Punk smirks at him. So it's better than last year, when Orton had deathpunted half of his team within the six months prior. But will Punk, Bryan, and Kane revisit the halcyon days of June?

They are a 3 man band where every member of that band is Axl Rose. I Love It! Although, the crowd was really the highlight of the night for me. We had the "you got busted" chant, a couple of Hacksaw-esque "hoo"s at AJ and non-stop wooing all night. The crowd must have thought that like Beetlejuice, Ric Flair could be summoned by saying WOOO multiple times. The very best was the lone guy doing a U-S-A chant during the Kofi-Cesaro match. Who was he chanting for? The US Championship belt? It's way better than the Intercontinental belt!

Punk's promo about Foley where he mentioned the hurricane was pretty low grade heel heat on top of the boo me he started. At least Foley fired back a good retort. Team Foley vs. Team Punk would be good if it was attitude stars vs. new stars. Cena destroying Dolph at Survivor Series is going to be something to watch. At least with the Claire Lynch storyline, there was some logic, I guess. Nothing about Vickie/AJ/Cena and at this point, Dolph interests me. Either give Dolph the title or at least move him to a world title feud, just do something than being Vickie's terrible enforcer. He is borderline close to Ryder and Santino, zero care factor for me.

Having not followed the Claire Lynch TNA story, wasn't that a million times more complicated than this? But still, it's unnecessary and convoluted...can't AJ just go back to wrestling and Cena can feud with Dolph without this storyline?

That 3MB Behind The Music segment was amazing...McIntyre is awesome, with his Axl/Bret Michaels getup. Jinder Mahal is the "funny one," just like Principal Skinner in the B-Sharps.

Adios and good luck to Beth Phoenix.

Sheamus & Show segment was really good, with Sheamus remembering "Oh yeah, I have multiple finishers...I don't need to just kick the Show in the head!"

When did Justin Gabriel add the Lionsault to his moveset?

I do love an old-school Survivor Series match too, but it's weird for Mick not to be on his own team (not that I want to see Mick wrestle, for his own good, but it's the situation where he can be more protected). But it gives us more Punk/Foley/Heyman mic segments at least.

Mind you, I haven't seen RAW, but I would be loathe to complain about people actually being in storylines than people just thrown out there to wrestle without rhyme or reason. AJ remaining in angles is good for her, as opposed to just going back to wrestling in the Divas division and floundering around like, say, Alicia Fox or Natalya. Plus a storyline with John Cena, the number one guy in the business, is a promotion. And if said storyline continues to detour Cena from challenging for the WWE Title, another plus.

At Hell in a Cell. Same time Kaitlyn added Davey Boy Smith's over the shoulder power slam, John Cena's catch a flying body press rollthrough, and Trish Stratus' Stratusfaction bulldog to her moveset.

Speaking of Brock, I can't wait for him to look Heyman in the eyes and ask him this: "So, you think CM Punk is the greatest WWE Champion ever?"

3MB. Beautiful. My stepdaughter, (14 yrs old and a Cena/Ryder fan), walked thru the room when they were wrestling and she asked: "Are they wearing LEATHER PANTS?"

*eye roll*

*walks away*

I couldn't say anything since I used to wear leather pants back in my band days, too.

Oh, and I like how the $1M check was presented one week before the election. Good for the breast cancer sufferers, definitely. Good for the voters of Connecticut? We'll wait and see.

Loved the 3MB and the tag match with Rhodes Scholars and Car Sterio. Other than that, the Vickie/AJ/Cena thing was The Dumbest Thing. Seriously, giving an unfair advantage to guys on the roster that she's sleeping with is actually Vickie's gimmick. Furthermore, while Cena is right, and none of the stuff they showed is actually very incriminating at all, he came off really poorly in that interview. It's like somebody ambushed him with the old "Will you stop beating your wife?" line, and he responded, "No, I have no plans at this time." He's really unlikable in this angle. Nothing about this angle makes any sense.

Why is it a big deal if Cena and AJ did have a fling at this point? She resigned, and he is divorced. Am I missing something?

As the board's self-appointed Senior Connecticut Elections Correspondent (tm)... it doesn't seem like anyone cares. Most of what people are seeing from the McMahon campaign is, uh, from the campaign, not WWE programming. Chris Murphy is consistently polling at about a 3% advantage, and it seems like McMahon's regarded as a joke. Then again, most of the state is kind of preoccupied at the moment with some sort of supposed snowicane.

That's no Kelly bash but I'm going to come after AJ with great prejudice, FAIR WARNING.

Here's the deleted scene of Kelly's firing.

KELLY: Hey Aksana, it's great to be back performing in front of the WWE Universe.

AKSANA: Kally Kally I have Tedodore Long's pack of pink slips so I fire you now, because of reasons. I best you best in the future endeavors.

KELLY: What.

ANNOUNCERS: Odd. Moving on.

Yeah, this touches on a few more things I don't get about this. Exactly HOW would any of these alleged indiscretions help Cena at all? He's already in the main event. He's already getting multiple title shots. And he's already demonstrated that he either doesn't care about the title or that he could get a title shot whenever he wants. Would it help him become the face of the company? He's already the face of the company! You can't sleep your way to the top if you're already there!

But again, you touched on the big problem, which is Vickie's role. You've noted that this sort of thing is Vickie's entire schtick! The hypocrisy kills any sense of logic.

And why the hell does Vickie even CARE about AJ and Cena, anyway? Maybe you could argue that an AJ/Cena pairing threatens Dolph's standing in the promotion...except HE HAS THE DAMN BRIEFCASE! Cena poses no threat to them whatsoever. This would make more sense if the Evil Authority Figure was Big Johnny or Paul Heyman, but not when it's Vickie. It's just another way to say "Oh, that Vickie is a BAD PERSON!" and we already KNOW that! We learned it the LAST time she was the Evil Authority Figure on SmackDown! And the time before that when she was the Evil Authority Figure on Raw!

And none of this is helped by Cena, who just comes across like a complete doofus! Oh God, I watched that promo on DVR this morning and it made my head hurt! He actually comes off like he's convinced of his own guilt. And this is the COMPANY'S TOP FACE!

At the risk of fantasy booking, I was sort of hoping that The Big Show would come out and call out Dolph Ziggler for being a coward and not cashing in on him after Show beat Seamus.

(Admittedly it's Heel vs. Heel but...) You could probably get a lot of mileage with The Big Show forcing Dolph to become the number one contender so that he has to actually fight a fresh Big Show at a PPV rather than lurk in the wings with the briefcase.

That exactly Cena's point. An innocent young crazy GM girl was forced to resign her complete power over RAW over alleged allegations that allegedly make no sense and are allegedly untrue!

She just hates AJ. From pretty much the week after AJ became GM, Vickie thought, actually accurately, that AJ was unbalanced and not qualified for the role. Then AJ slapped her and war were declared. She was just biding her time to come up with a way to get AJ removed as GM and make her power grab and orchestrated all of this to do just that. The WWE Board of Directors in their infinite wisdom of making no sense in their decisions forced AJ to resign and gave Vickie her current position.

Guys, it's not rocket science. It's the opposite of that, it's just stupid. But not hard to understand. Just stupid.

Well, Vickie is a heel, so being a hypocrite is understandable, and might even be the angle they are going for. I just still don't understand why it matters what Cena and AJ are doing. Especially when, as you say, he is already the top guy! Maybe doubting himself now that Punk has held the belt for a year and Cena was trying to "keep his spot"? That might be giving them too much credit, and still doesn't make a lot of sense because Cena is always in the main event anyway.
