The WWe has noone to support them so if they lose enough money they will go bankrupt. When Ted Turner owned the fed, he kept it alive to try to one-up Vince. Once Ted wasn't involved and it was just AOL/Time Warner, they decided to sell it. As for the WWE, I think it would take Vince personally going bankrupt to kill the WWE. I was genuinely surprised by the match between Sable and Steph, actually. It did what it needed to do, and I think Sable underestimated.
