According to the story from the Torch, Amy Weber gave her notice due to the ribbing she took in Japan for the guys finding a picture of her on a flyer for a strip club.
I can't be sad that one of the Diva losers is gone, but she was one that actually had a decent gimmick and wasn't just thrown in backstage segments for no reason.

I thought she was the hottest of the diva's, but I wont miss her at all. She will be fine. I am sure she will be in some B movie or softcore porn sometime this year.

Too bad. She was my favorite diva on SD. She's completely hot and did the the whole "bad girl" gimmick fairly well.
I hope her pay cut is worth it but, like someone else stated she can do 100 magazine and soft-core porn spots for a paycheck.(I think she's making a poor business decision...she has at least 3 yrs guaranteed work in the WWE, if not longer if she chooses to train and if the fans like her.)
I guess a good swerve would be to have Joy Giovanni turn on The Big Show at NWO and join up with JBL and his "cabinet".
Joy would have to be my new favorite SD diva ,after Amy leaves. Joy is married with children..if I recall Carmella dissing her on RAW in August.(So, it's a little funny to me that she's the Big Show's "girlfriend" on SD)

He said he got to the point where when girls would come up to him, he'd ask them which of the 2 situations apply -
1. they want something moved, like their apartment, or
2. they want to piss off their current/former boyfriend.
He then gushed about how surprised he was and thanks God every day that "I've got a hot wife!"
Other comments indicate that he is very happily whipp- er, married. So the idea of him having a girlfriend, even for storyline purposes just strikes me as very funny.
Back to topic, sure Amy was hot, but very replaceable. | rlbehan

Actually, it was more like 3 years later. The Kurt/HHH/Steph triangle occured in the summer/early fall of 2000 and HHH and Steph married on October 25, 2003. I only remember because that unholy day also happened to be my birthday.

Ouch. Well, I've been reading that the WWE folk are trying to keep Amy on. Wow, I've never seen them do that for someone who quits, not even Austin if memory serves. It's unbelievable that they would do that for her, but not for the great looking (and CAPABLE) women (and Nidia, j/k) they released last year. Damn right I'm still carrying a torch for that. If they do succeed, there's no doubt they'll pay off with that much awaited Joy/Amy match. That's worth the price of WM right there.....
