And here we go with the WWE Day of Reckoning roster.
(More legends are going to be announced and I will update this thread accordingly)
Kurt Angle The Undertaker John Cena Rey Mysterio Eddie Guerrero Big Show Charlie Haas Chavo Guerrero Hardcore Holly Rhyno Doug Basham Danny Basham Booker T RVD Mark Jindrak
The Rock Triple H Chris Jericho Kane Randy Orton Shawn Michaels Christian Val Venis Garrison Cade Batista Matt Hardy Ric Flair Chris Benoit Lance Storm Shelton Benjamin Edge
Molly Holly Victoria Trish Stacy
Andre the Giant Bret Hart Greg the Hammer Valentine Roddy Piper Brutus the Barber Beefcake
Mike Chioda Paul Heyman Coach Eric Bischoff Vince McMahon
Same goes for the SD! vs RAW roster seriously missing "big" current superstars. Kind of a let down. I am not into the whole spending my free time creating wrestlers who should already be in the game rather then playing the game itself. Besides I also like actual wrestlers entrance themes, etc.
Where the 'F' is JBL, Lita, Eugene & Regal, The Dudley Boyz? Theodore R Long? It might have been a error on THQ's part but Rhyno still listed as a SD! superstar and no Tajiri? La Resistance?
Should I go on?

Rosters are typically frozen around WM to get for fall releases. It's a heck of slow turnaround time, but I'd guess that's what required to get the games done. (They're probably better off pushing everything back a month, since post-WM usually features changes and rosters moves.)
Given that framing, the choices they made then make sense: JBL wasn't JBL yet, Eugene hadn't been thought of, and Regal had been back yet. Theodore R. Long, Tajiri and La Resistance had smaller roles.
It is strange Rhyno didn't get moved and Shelton did, since it happened within an hour of each other, and a day sooner than Booker and RVD's move. And it's surprising they'd choose Victoria or Molly Holly (and maybe even Stacy) over Lita, given fan support.
It's a really thin roster, but isn't that trademark of these Gamecube games?
It's not much but it does confirm it will be online and still on track for March/April release. With the terrible interface and lag issues with SD! vs RAW on PS2, lets hope THQ and developer Gigante (Tao Fang) gt this game engine and online mode right.
