The Smackdown tapings didn't happen on Tuesday, but on Thursday they did a live show with no angles, just some kick ass wrestling. The point was, America had to move on and not just give up after 9/11. Stephanie cut a horrible promo comparing the plight of America to the plight of the McMahon family during the steroid trials of the late 80s. The rest of the show was pretty good, and it was the first break I got from continuous CNN updates.
In retrospect, I think everyone was a little hard on Stephanie. I get the point she was trying to make, if that counts for anything.

Going back to the review for that show, one thing comes instantly to mind: The WWF/E writers this past week on RAW yet again stole CRZ's material with the Nappy comment on Booker T.
Ole Anderson booking is a weapon of self inflicted mass destruction.
Let me try again, then. Tank survived and had some substantial wins in UFC competition on strength and brutality alone. He couldn't wrestle, grapple, kick or box, but he could hit guys really hard (he's bench-pressed 500)
