The Smackdown tapings didn't happen on Tuesday, but on Thursday they did a live show with no angles, just some kick ass wrestling. The point was, America had to move on and not just give up after 9/11. Stephanie cut a horrible promo comparing the plight of America to the plight of the McMahon family during the steroid trials of the late 80s. The rest of the show was pretty good, and it was the first break I got from continuous CNN updates.
Did Jack Swagger show poor backstage manners or something? The guy doesn't even get an entrance anymore. Kane and Cena tagging. Caring for one another. It seemed like a hot crowd to start the show, but bad Raws can ruin that.
