Im a big WWE fan but lets face it the RAW storylines have sucked lately. We have Kane & Shane going around trying to kill each other, S.H.I.T., Goldberg with a $100,000 target above his head, and many more stupid storylines. You know, there is all this talk about Wrestlemania XX and how they are going to do all this spectacular things. Well they need to do some spectacular things right now or come Wrestlemania their will be a big drop in the fans.

I want to know what ya'll think about the RAW storylines & WWE right now in general!

Holla at yea l8er!

Well, you should pretty much be able to find our opinions concerning Raw and the WWE within the board's threads concerning Raw and the WWE. Have you read them?

You know, say what you will, but at least there are more than one storyline on Raw these days. Somebody is at least trying.

Goldberg Bounty: Could be neat. Wait and see.

Kane/Shane: Same story with someone other than Shane would be better.

S.H.I.T.: Trying to get people to care about Rosie is valiant to say the least, and if this gives the Hurricane any sort of prominence, so be it.

Also, not mentioned...

Jericho/Austin head games: Great storytelling so far between two of the best mike workers of this era. Twisting in Christian as the Jericho supporter and RVD as the ring marvel who Austin has a soft spot for is not bad.

Coach & Snow/JR & Lawler: So it's not setting the world on fire. At least it's showmanship on the bookers behalf.

Steiner hates Stacy: Even this guy has a storyline going on.

Everybody is busy with something on Raw these days, and it all has a Nitro kind of vibe to it, when Nitro was good. It even has a few storylines spilling into each other, which was what made Nitro so awesome in it's heyday.

Then again, that's just my opinion.

Kane gets flustered that he didn't get to do something silly this week. Ho hum.

As bland as Raw has been lately, I will give them credit for one thing: people on that show now have a purpose (for the mostpart). This is one thing that I always gave Vince Russo credit for, despite the fact that he had a lot of retarded ideas. If you go up and down the Raw roster, you can name just about anyone on the main show and explain what they are doing now. That's the first step to turning the show around. Think back to six months or a year ago...could you say the same thing? No way.

The unfortunate thing is that it seems we either get boring or unfunny purposes for everyone or entertaining ideas for a select few. It's nice that the Dudleyz, in sticking up for America, found their way into a feud with La Résistance and Conway over the tag titles (there - a reason for the feud to start and a reason for it to continue), but I'm bored to tears every time I see another match featuring these guys coming up. It's better than just throwing together makeshift tag teams and having matches, I mean, there is an angle to it, it's just not a very entertaining angle or one that I look forward to seeing continue.

I guess we should be thankful to some degree...this time last year the angles were still annoying for the mostpart, but at least there were enough of them to go around. Most segments today at least have a purpose. Last year they had a purpose if they involved HHH or his upcoming PPV opponent, and that was all. Take a look back at No Mercy '02 if you don't believe me and tell me that wasn't a last-minute slapped together piece of crap. No Mercy '03 doesn't look to be spectacular by any stretch, but at least it looks like it was planned out in advance.

They're half way there. I don't like the fact that we as wrestling fans are in a "take what we can get" mode like this now, but that's life.

I like some of the angles going on right now.

The Goldberg bounty hunter angle is perfect for him in my opinion. It continues his feud with Triple H but at the same time keeps him busy with other wrestlers since they don't have a ppv this month. Also with all the lower to mid level guys gunning for him it gives him the oppurtunity to make some really srtong squashes which plays to his strength since that is the best kind of matches he has.

I find the S.H.I.T. angle and the Lance Storm/Goldust angle pretty humorous, I don't know where they are going to lead if anywhere at all but at the very least they are very entertaining filler.

Jericho and Christian are both great. Jericho and Austin are having the best segments each week and if Austin is healthy enough to wrestle again then they can put on a great match in the ring. Christian is also great in the role of thinking that he is underappreciated.

I was enjoying the Stacy/Test/Steiner for the past couple of weeks because Test has been entertaining. I think they could do more with the angle though, make Test really boss them around like have them was his car, shine his shoes, etc. Someone in another thread said now that Test is injured Steiner should have to push him around in a wheel chair, which I think is a great idea.

The Gail Kim/Molly Holly teamup, and Victoria getting involved last week has made the women's division more interesting then it's been in a while.

La Resistance/Dudleys is getting old (although I DID enjoy the tag match on Heat last night), as is Kane vs. Shane, but still the good outweighs the bad.

Smackdown on the other needs some help. I prefer Smackdown over Raw becasue I like the wrestlers better but they don't have any intriguing storylines going on. It just seems like the McMahons get all the storylines while the wrestlers just randomly draw names to see who they feud with that month.

What is the purpose of any woman in the women's division?
At least get some personality in there. Show Molly abusing Gail, Trish mocking Molly, Lita doing *something*
Ok, Molly's irrational. Let's work with that. Let's show that Molly is paranoid. Something unique, people, at least semi-unique.

As bad as some plotlines are, I have to admit that there are plenty of them. A little mixing would be good. I mean, realisticly, they're all backstage, so they can't avoid each other completely.

I'm asking for realism here. You don't just have a heel camp and a face camp: everybody has different agendas.

Scared to post I've been ragged on so bad.
Still convinced shinstrife is a famous

I'd been thinking of that idea too. They could've followed up the initial Molly choking out Gail segment with an angle similar to the Mattiude abusing Shannon Moore thing. It would atleast give us a reason to care about them being together. Plus it would be funny, God forbid any of the women possess any personality(sans Victoria). God forbid they show any kind of purpose for putting certain women together.

Unfortunately, that resulted the first time around in the unpleasant "Molly is fat" jokes that nearly made Trish look like the heel. Face women apparently aren't supposed to have characters anyway. We're supposed to just cheer them simply for being there :/.

That's probably a dark main event. Like for the show in Pittsburgh, we got a whole bunch of ads for Cena and DX vs. Edge, Orton, and Umaga. Actually, one of the more interesting matches I've seen live was the dark main event of a Raw in August '05.
