Given that the building is across the street from the obliteration of two skyscrapers, it would have to suffer some structural damage, right? Look at the smoke coming out of it before it tumbles.
As far as conspiracy theories go, I'm incredulous. Someone would have stepped forward with the biggest story of this century if not -- pardon the possible hyperbole -- the history of the country. A plot of this scale would have to involve too many people for everyone to remain silent.
Forget Wikileaks. This would be the intelligence disclosure that would garner global response.

Has any of these conspiracy theorists ever put forth a theory of why the destruction of building 7 would even be necessary? What gets accomplished by knocking this particular building down that doesn't get accomplished by knocking down the first two?
The Bored are already here. Idle hands are the devil's workshop. And no... we won't kill dolphins. But koalas are fair game.
As a fan of conspiracies, I have no idea why this is so important. The only conclusion, I can come up with is it falls into the USA allowed 9/11 conspiracy. That theory is they pre-set the towers to explode. The planes don't crash the way they want them or thought they would yet Building 7 is wired, so it goes down thanks to a pre-timed bomb or someone activating it by mistake. To me, it looks like what Matt said, it took damage probably from the surrounding debris and built in way not to take that amount of damage.
I don't like the 9/11 USA planned the entire thing. Besides the chilling thought that the government thinks we are their play things, too many intangibles would be needed to go forwarded with it. I also don't think people who work in the Pentagon or know people in the Pentagon would allow that attack to happen plus that was the major F-U from Al Queda to the military. Did the government allow 9-11 to happen, I am on the fence about that. There were too many documents and reports stating the FBI knew those guys were up to something. Even when the guy who is training the pilots called the FBI, it got swept under the rug. Either the FBI was incompetent or someone thought this was a win win for the Bush administration and the military. Bush gets re-elected and the military gets a giant pile of cash. I tend to believe the incompetent theory considering how every thing Bush touched turned to shit mainly due to overconfidence and stupidity. Yet, he did get a second term while having worse numbers then most Presidents during that time and the military did get some phat loot.
For once Grimis and I agree. I am not a big Rumsfeld fan but he is no dummy. Arrogant, yes. Stupid, no. He has a great deal of contempt for the media and ascribes a huge anti-administration bias to them.
