I purchased some wrestling tapes from the site in question shortly before they closed up at the end of June. I received confirmation that my order would be filled and shipped within 8-10 weeks. It has now been over 3 months.
If I thought they were just running late, I wouldn't think anything of it, but they refuse to answer any of my e-mails and they just re-opened for a limited time to help with some "expenses". I think they may be using this last opportunity to rip off anyone who wants to get in one last order.
What should I do? I don't think I have any legal recourse, seeing as how purchasing these tapes may not be... ahem, legal. However, I've done this a couple of times before and I know one of those pinheads at 411 works for the tape site (or at least pimps it). The one and only video I bought from them was advertised as a best of shoot moments, but half the tape contained RF and friends with panties on their heads, pretending to masturbate and hump some dog under a table.
Quite interesting if you're into that kind of thing.

Closed up? as in Out of Business? Bankrupt?
If so, then line up with all the other creditors, and pray you might recieve $0.01 if there is anything left after paying everyone else.
Still in business? how did you pay? credit card? usually you have 30 days (some banks 90) to dispute the charges and do a charge back. Then file a fraud claim w/ the bank and one a mail fraud one with the post office. Also contact the States atty. general in the state in which they do business.
