Am new here. If this turns out to be bad and gets flushed, I will understand. Will feel unloved and worthless, but will understand. Are any of the wieners here actually wrestlers themselves? I saw the picture and tag of Dr. Wagner, and suddenly realized that this might be a real luchadore. Or it could just be a buff guy who owns a Mexican wrestler's mask. Or a guy who has a picture of a buff guy...you get my point. So, any of you freaks performing at your local indies for 10 bucks a night and all the leftover hot dogs you can eat?
Yeah, but is *our* dr wagner jr the *real* dr wagner jr? I thought I was just talking to some fans with good connections, and shinstrife will probably turn out to be some fourth generation luchadore whose been training since pre-school and specializes in leg sweeps.
On the Dr. Wagner jr score - I'm gonna say no. Some fans just like to show who their favorite is by using the name and images.
While I don't know any posters who actually wrestle in the indies (Calum MacBeth from OO doesn't post here, does he?) I know there are at least a few who do some kind of work for different wrestling organizations. The Thrill and Llakor being two of them.
Oh yeah, and anybody who thinks it'd be fun to impersonate a wrestler (or anybody else for that matter) is going to end up banned.

To Make Jeb Feel Better: ;)
Note to self:
The less I post, the fewer chances I have to look like an ass.
I trained for a while, and then had to make the choice between college and training. College won that battle, though maybe after I get my MFA I might give it another whirl.
I recall someone on the board training in the Dungeon, though offhand the name escapes me.
I worked one match in Henderson, North Carolina, as the Bushmaster versus LL Cool.
I did not choose nor enjoy the monicker Bushmaster either. Oh, by the way, if anybody had the absolute misfortune of watching this, I apologize. It is enjoyable between friends and a case of beer, but nobody else should be subjected to this.
I want you to imagine A-Train with his ass hanging out and one twentieth the talent he has. That's me. Put in a fireplug Stevie Ray who barely reached my nipple (I'm 6'4") and hadn't had a match in 5 years. It was funny to see me, who was twice the size of LL Cool, bump like a madman. (Big Show selling everything like a gunshot to The Brooklyn Brawler.)
This wasn't a hot poker up the ass. It was the barrel of a Bradley tank up your ass and unloading.
However, it was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had (being a heel and having everyone boo the hell out of you is a rush).
Kane gets flustered that he didn't get to do something silly this week. Ho hum.
*Laughs* Right... anyway, yeah, I trained in Calgary for a couple monthes before, well, I couldn't quite pay Ross... they were very nice about it, though, and last I heard they want to see me back there. But that was a while ago, and before I started writing my 'controversial' articles that tend to get me in trouble. I'm not sure if anyone from there's read them... I know I gave Jack Evans the URL to www.Shootingstarpress.com once upon a time...
But am I anyone important? Nah, not at all. Although, I would like to think I'm fairly good at it. *Casts an overly exaggerated cheesy grin.* Afterall, I *AM* the great and fabulous Ender!!! Water? This isn't water!!! This is COLD!!! I wanted ROOM TEMPERATURE WATER!!! ... Where can a guy find a peasant who knows what WATER is around here?!?

It's true, it's damn tr... er, wait. Just kidding.
Anyways, I just wanted to add that our very own 'tsmstu' refereed a match recently between Greg The Hammer Valentine and Someone Else, and also worked a battle royal at a local indy show. Don't know if that counts...
Goldberg tells all in a tell-all interview where he tells all!!! Tons of news about Triple HHH!!! All this plus the ONLY wrestling cartoon anywhere in the latest Inside The Ropes!!!

Seems that im gonna be famous in the board!! jejeje not im not the real Dr Wagner Jr however, i actually know the big guy, i had a radio show in an internet based station…my show was about advertising, but the station had a Lucha Libre program..i met the guy in that show….He is one of my biggest Lucha idol and some day (with his aproval, because i apreciatte have all my teeth right in his place!) i would like to make his official web…
Asking the question…I heard that the Forum was reviewed in a Wrestle Magazine here in México…some REAl wrestlers usually check sites like this, like Demian 666, Scorpio jr or Ultimo Guerrero….
Cheers!
There's no man in Earth strong enough to hold a Wagner Drive!!
I was fortunate enough to train for a while at the (now) PCW league in Arlington, TX. This is the same fed that Jazz and Rodney Mack were at before they were called up by Vinnie Mac.
On the first day, they brought in special guest trainer Gentleman Chris Adams.
I got to meet the man before his untimely death. Needless to say (even tho I'm about to) I felt very honored.
But due to a bad neck, I had to drop out. (back bumps tend to aggrivate bad necks)
I would like to congatulate Al Snow on his contact with La-Z-Boy. Because we all know Al doesn't sell chairs. - Mick Foley

Flattering, truly but not so. I haven't had much of a chance to work in wrestling, seeing as I'm a 15 year old stuck in a small town. I am however close friends with a man who's training with Harley Race, and has been for about a year or so in his..Elton if I'm correct area.
Given the chance, I'd joing Pro wrestling either as a part of creative(because I'm sure I could turn out much better idea's in my sleep then the current team) or in the ring.
I don't know about "good connections". Does it count that I know some people who know some people?
As for me, I'm nothing but a fan. Though I'd love to be a ref or an announcer or a writer, and I think I could do any of the above fairly well. But I'm no wrestler, I'm willing to admit that.
Wisconsin Badgers: 5-1 (Penn State may not be as bad as they looked against Wisconsin's offense, but man our defense looks like crap.)
Minnesota Vikings: 5-0 (Forget Indy and Tampa, THIS was the comeback game of the week.)
Amazing. No references yet to being a wrestler Andre the Giant style. (wb)
Warrior Quote: "Presuming initial consensualness, where exactly do we draw the lines of our judgment pinning down the responsibility and accountability inextricably attached to each human life? "
I can't wrestle yet, but people have told me to give it some thought cuz I'm a middle linebacker and tightend and I used to lift almost everyday untill i ripped the muscle in my forearm away from the bone and ran out of money to pay for the gym because they wouldnt let me work. I do occasionaly (everytime me and my buddies get drunk) tap match anyone who wants to. The only thing that may keep me from joining a school is lack of money and I dont know of any up here in Maine with all the hicks. lol.

If that counts, then my gym teacher/Athletic Director from High School, and friend of the family is Mick Foley's cousin. Scored us tickets to an In Your House in Rochester a while back.
I feel like Kalisto is the guy they thought they were going to get when they signed Mistico. On top of that, he speaks English, so they don't have the language barrier to worry about (and his promos with Sin Cara have been pretty fun).
