Sounds like a perfect night to wear my Calgary Hitmen jersey.

Speaking of Bret, I met him this morning while on set for A Channel's "Big Breakfast."
A friend of mine was on doing makeup tips...and me being the huge TV nerd I am wanted to tag along. Sure enough, the Hitman was also on the show.
Bret was very apologetic for being late, and took time to talk to and sign autographs for pretty much everyone.

The game itself was great-Bret sat in the stands like an average Joe and was happy to autograph, pose for pictures, and shake hands. The Hitmen went up 4-0 early, but gave back three goals and only scored their 5th late in the game for a 5-3 win. The fifth goal was crucial as it meant everyone in the stands gets a free burger at Wendy's. So of course, I was screaming "I want my free burger" at the Hitmen anytime they were in my end.
Then I went to Cowboys and happened upon a Miss Hawaiian Tropic competition. Good night, but that's not really a hockey story, is it? | Guru Zim
