The worst thing that could possibly happen is that you forget something you thought of while watching the show. That would suggest that it wasn't that spectacular a thought anyway.
Whatever you do remember and post is bound to be more thoughtful discussion-wise. And that, in the end, makes for a far more insightful and enjoyable board... even if you are temporarily inconvenienced.

I try to avoid them and wish we wouldn't talk about them until after the show, but I'm not going to make everyone else follow that.

Are you going to close the boards during the PPV running times? The same basic principles that applied to your idea of closing the Wrestling folder would apply to the PPV world as well... at least I think it would...
That's a pretty good idea. Actually, it's Guru that usually sets the very poor example of starting those threads during PPVs, so I'll have to run it by him first. ;-)

| #23 Posted on 7.5.03 1112.18 | Instant Rating: 6.41 | The one difference I'd say about adding a PPV ban is that more and more people aren't buying the PPVs anymore and may want "real time" updates. Which admittedly you could get other places.
But hey, I don't watch RAW or buy the PPVs anymore and am usually asleep already during said times, so it really doesn't effect me.

| #24 Posted on 7.5.03 1431.35 | Well, I didn't get this last PPV, and I may not get the next one... so do what you want to do. I could always do a running thread of results in the contributors area (or in the banished folder).

If people don't order the PPV's but want to sit online for 3 hours looking at "real-time" updates, then they should just order and stop trying to look cool.
