Hey, all. Just got back from a business trip to Manhattan, and of course the predominant thing on my mind was `what obscure wrestling DVD's can I find this time?' Last few times I was down there, I was able to get my hands on some ECW, mid-South and other fairly obscure stuff. This time, nothing. The closest I could find this time was the Shawn Michaels From The Vault one, which is only obscure in the sense that I haven't seen it sold in Toronto yet. So, just wondering: any tips on where I could find good stuff in and around the Manhattan area? Tried all the main stops -- Virgin Megastore, FYE, all the Times Square stuff, plus a few smaller places -- but found nothing. Going to be headed back sometime this fall, so I want to be prepared this time. Any of you have advice for me? Thanks.

I couldn't tell you where to find good DVDs, but if you're interested in Video, I've stopped into Serendib Video a few times on 6th and I believe 25th. I've picked up a bunch of stuff from the WWF 92-94 era. Stuff like World Tour '92, Smack 'Em Whack 'Em, a Bret Hart video from around that time, as well as a Shawn Michaels video as well. The only place I've seen decent DVDs were at Suncoast Video in a mall near me, but outside of a re-release set which had old GWF stuff, it's been just the basic stuff.
They gotta bring these back!!!: "talk to the hand because the man don't understand." - "The Crippler" Chris Benoit "...and that is the LAST WORD." - "The Big Nasty" Paul Wight and of course: "Don't hate the playa...HATE THE GAME~!" - WCW World Champion Booker T
Iīve been to the Royal Rumble in 2000 and to me it looked like there wasnīt a truly bad seat as well. As far as the building itself is concerned there simply isnīt anything to disturb or distract you. So relax and enjoy that biggest show of em all ....
