I hope its something that we do get over here someday.
WIENER OF THE DAY! July 6, 2002!
Wienerville Survivor League Co-Champion If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink.
I caught some ROH the other day and was blown away. Freakin' awesome. They are currently playing a different fed each day at 7am and 7pm, in a kind of trail run. So it's not a full-blown wrestling channel yet, but hopefully will be soon.
IWW tonight (Thurs), who the heck are they??
EDIT: Posted this at 7:20am, forgetting that IWW was actually on at the time. Irish Wrestling. Caught the end of a Jodie Fliesh (sp?) match. Pretty cool.
I really think that, given the way the business has radically changed over the last 5 years or so, paying your dues IN THE INDIES is overrated. If a wrestler is really talented, he can only pick up bad habits in the minors, not good ones.
