Another day later, but finally Bite TV and Brightcove proudly present episode six of TAKEDOWN:

I think the singles match lasted longer than the battle royal. That's messed up, man.

I watched this earlier today, and was going to start a thread, but since I don't know how to embed the video, I figured I'd wait until CRZ started one.

Kandi Kisses (and the Gumdrops) vs. Lil' Slamm (The Rapper) is the singles match. It was alright.

Takedown Spotlight was Amber Lively.

For some reason, I took note of the order of entry and elimination for the Battle Royal. Maybe it will be of interest to someone, someday!

Here is how they were introduced:

  1. Faith of The Naughty Girls

  2. Hope of The Naughty Girls

  3. The Hippie Chick Marley

  4. The Spanish Matador Maria Toro

  5. The Webmistress Paige Webb

  6. The Goddaughter Toni "The Topp" Allegro

  7. Charlotte the Southern Belle (filling in for the injured Savannah)

  8. From the Jersey Shore Brook Lynn

  9. The Texas Twister Lacey Von Erich

  10. The Career Criminal Felony

  11. The Polish Powerhouse Alexandra the Great

  12. The Ice Princess Autumn Frost

  13. Glory, The All-American Girl

  14. The Queen of the Vamps Draculetta

  15. The Rowdy Cowgirl Tyler Texas

  16. The Hotel Heiress Sierra Sheraton

  17. The Kentucy Wildcat Amber Lively

  18. The Biker Babe Kickstart Katie

  19. The Island Princess Maui

  20. The Voodoo Queen White Magic

And here is how they were eliminated:
SPOILER:

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read

  1. Maria Toro (never entered)

  2. Tyler Texas by Naughty Girls (and fight with Toro who hasn't entered the ring)

  3. Charlotte (by Brooke Lynn)

  4. White Magic (by Marley)

  5. Marley (by the Naughty Girls)

  6. Draculetta (by Amber Lively)

  7. Amber Lively (by the Naughty Girls)

  8. Faith (by everyone)

  9. Hope (also by everyone at the same time as Faith)

  10. Lacey Von Erich by Kickstart Katie

  11. Sierra by Maui

  12. Autumn Frost by Alexandra

  13. Paige Webb by Toni The Topp

  14. Maui by Felony

  15. Katie by Glory

  16. Brook by Alexandra

  17. Alexandra by Felony

  18. Toni by Glory

Leaving Felony & Glory as the final two.

Hmm, not showing the numbering in the spoiler section, anyway, you get the idea!

They really need to get rid of the "Wrestlicious Heroines" comic book pages, they are horribly drawn, and it's hard to read them.

Like how the announcer snuck in another of those comments, re: Lacey von Erich being a "beautiful person".

OK. SO. If you haven't seen this yet OR you're dying to watch it again, maybe you can try watching it WITH MEEEEEEE

Here's the embedded episode again, and here's a Vimeo I taped Friday (but which they kinda didn't encode until today) - hit play on the Vimeo and then, when I click, click play on the Wrestlicious episode. Then, ask yourself what you're doing with your life!

It will be maddening trying to keep these in sync since I had a lot of rebuffering on Friday, and y'know, probably it's totally not worth your time but I had an uninterrupted half hour at work, so...

EDIT: There's also a pause added somewhere in the first few minutes of the Vimeo, so you'll probably need to pause Wrestlicious when the bell rings during the first match and wait for me to note that the match has started. Honestly, this is a big pain. If I do this again, I'll make sure to regularly tell you where I am during the episode.

I didn't realize Lil Slamm was a babyface. She certainly acted like a heel before this.

Thumbs up to Lizzie Valentine's Elvis outfit.

speaking of outfits, wouldn't it have been a good idea to give Glory an outfit to cover up that giant tattoo?

A fun episode this week. A nice and basic singles match where the face went over and a battle royal that was quick (and considering how bad most battle royals are, I'm fine with the quick eliminations).

I love that Cousin Cassie's choice for the naming of the battle royal won out when she didn't even get to be in the match itself.
