I'm doing a little research for my own personal edification (i.e. I'm really really bored) ... Does anyone know of a web site that keeps track of the debut dates of wrestlers? Like, when did Steve Austin make his first televised appearance in the WWF (as opposed to his first WCW appearance), etc. etc.

I'm specifically talking about the WWF/E, circa 1985 to the present ... Although wrestler debuts in WCW and ECW would be appreciated as well.

There must be some site on this big ol' information superhighway that has such info on record ... Any help?

The one thing you might want to try is to look through the rec.sport.pro-wrestling archives at google, specifically looking for taping reports, or KJP's RAW summary.

e.g. Austin was at 12/18/95 in Newark, DE.

Hey. Xanta Klaus also debuted then!

I also would have to agree that Hulkamania was not a failure. This is what happened as I remember it, sorry if I miss some parts. Timeline: Hogan comes back as part of the nWo for a short period of time, wrestles Rock and gets some good crowd response.
