I thought it was a good show, not great. First hour was soured so much by the Sheamus/Bryan "match". Hours 2-4 were excellent.

What a moving moment it was when they played Edge's music and he broke down.

Daniel Bryan will be fine. Losses don't really matter when they are story-driven and this completely plays into the story of Sheamus being nigh-unstoppable for several months and Bryan being a sneaky guy who has retained his title by sneaky tricks far more often than by actually winning. If he gets dropped down to the midcard with no follow-up over the next few weeks, then ok, but why would anybody assume that is what is going to happen?

Kane looks weird in daylight. Bad move putting that on so early. Also a boring match, but I liked the finish a lot.

That really should be both Undertaker and HHH's last match. Go out on top, fellas.

I'm glad that CM Punk won as I don't like Jericho very much. He's just not a main event guy for me. I think a lot of his offense looks weak and he resembles a giant, plastic action figure. He is technically sound, but I just don't care about him in 2012 like I did in 1999 or 2004. I will be patiently waiting for Punk to have a new opponent once the inevitable Jericho rematch plays out.

The finish to Rock/Cena was abrupt and didn't look all that great. Cena's momentum shouldn't have stopped for the Rock Bottom setup, as it would have looked more devastating if it were a fluid transition from running into the Rock Bottom. In any case, it was a good move to have Rock win clean since it is more interesting than Cena winning again, unless if some very interesting booking were involved. Seeing as there wasn't any after the match, I'm hoping for some very interesting booking tonight. Otherwise, I fail to see any story-driven point to the Rock/Cena match. Profits are great, but as a fan I want to see a turn or something big come from this.

-The order of matches was odd. HHH/Taker felt too early and Punk/Jericho followed by the main event was too much. Crowd just sat there for the Punk match like they just wanted it over with to get to the main event.

-I'm wondering if the placing of UT/HHH was so that it was at dusk/nightfall? It was a cool visual and matched the theme of the match.

-Biggest shock of the night was Orton losing. Orton got lost in the shuffle with the return of Rock and Jericho and the rise of Punk and Shaemus, so I figured he'd at least get to destroy Kane. Plus he lost CLEAN. Very odd. Wonder if there is any backstage heat?

-All this Ryder stuff is Vince and HHH's FU to the IWC for daring to support anyone the E machine hasn't endorsed.

-Not looking forward to EVIL~! OWNER Johnny L. Wonder how long it'll take to get our first handicap match?

I hope next year they just have Flair and Michaels and HHH and Taker in a four corners match and they can all take turns crying and being defiant to the last and murdering each other and then all hug it out. Since we've seen that match every year now since 24. It's like they exist in their own little universe and emerge only to squash other wrestlers and use the fact they get 6-12 months off after last night to make everyone else look lazy.

It was nice to hear JR though. I'll give it that.

I really don't think this is the end of DBry: Main Eventer or anything, and it's obvious it advances the AJ storyline. It's just a shame the Third Best In The World didn't get the opportunity to show what he can do on the Grandest Stage of Them All, for the second year in a row. That's what I felt really gypped by as a fan and a viewer, and felt bad for Bryan and Sheamus as well.

My qualm about Rock's Sharpshooter isn't even about him. Michael Cole had no idea Rock was going for that move the first time. The crowd knew it what it was though.

Loved the music acts, the Brodus dance, the backstage skits as well as the video packages. Everything else felt kind of unnecessary for Sportsentertania XXVIII, especially the wrestling stuff - totally unentertaining in my opinion.

How do you know if Jericho is lying? He says something on twitter.

I was surprised by Sheamus winning in 18 seconds, but I know it's just going to lead to more D-Bry awesomeness once he starts blaming AJ for the loss, so I'm fine with it.

Kane/Orton was boring. Oh Lord was it boring! Sucks for Orton he goes from possibly winning the Rumble and facing Bryan for the championship, only to losing to Kane in the true curtain jerker match.

Surprised Big Show won simply because it leads to a former world champ getting the IC title, something they haven't done often.

I gotta give K2 credit for trying her best to get the crowd into the match. Maria was pretty bad (I think she was better in her Raw match?) but it is what it is.

I'll openly admit that I didn't like last year's Undertaker/Triple H match as much as most did. I appreciate what they were trying to do, but for whatever reason (maybe I lack a soul?) they just couldn't rope me into the story. This year was different. I don't care about the hug-fest at the end of the match, this was one of the most engaging matches I've seen in a long long time, and in my mind at least, better than last year's. Mostly improved due to Michaels' involvement, and he got to be a bit much near the end, but still a great great match.

Team Johnny wins once they hammer in that Zack Ryder is a moron who thinks with his wiener. Match was a mess.

Hated the opening bit of Punk/Jericho. The gimmick was just too strong, and really Punk showed he wasn't that good of an actor with his facials. Once they moved past the "omg Punk is gonna be disqualified for punching Jericho a few times" and got into a match, it was pretty good. Loved Punk moving forward more on the Vice and locking it in good on Jericho.

Funkasaurus is, and always will be, awesome. The fact that he brings Cameron and Naomi out there dancing with him is just the icing on the cake.

Way to go Cena, bringing up people are stuck sitting behind the scoreboard. Way to bring me down heading into the main event. Those poor people. They say through the first hour of shit and the GM match and they couldn't even see when it was over.

Rock and Cena wasn't boring, but it wasn't really exciting either in a weird way. Glad Rock won, it was the right thing to do. I pretty much lost my shit when Eninem V2.0 said that Cena was not just an underdog, but one of the biggest (!!!) underdogs. You can't write garbage like that.

The show didn't make me crazy to see RAW. Everything was kind of tied up and I just expect a bunch of "This feud MUST continue" tonight.

I think Wrestlemania should blow off most storylines, but there should be a couple things you want to see the next night.

Actually, I don't think anything minus the Divas, Taker/HHH, GM and maybe Kane/Orton are done. I don't think any of the other feuds are done by a long shot. Jericho regardless of what he said on Twitter is going to want revenge. Cena's loss begs the question does he go after Rock again or turn heel or does the typical ADD thing which is just ignore what happened and goes after Asian A-Train. Cody and Bryan have rematch clauses. Also, today is the 10th anniversary of someone making his debut. So, you know that may happen as well.

See, I never really understood when people say that Wrestlemania should wrap up story lines and that it has traditionally been the culmination of the WWE's year. Outside of special matches to me it has always seemed to be the first match in the feud with the rematches afterwards. And I am not just talking about in the days since the monthly pay per views- if you look at feuds like Hogan/Savage they had their "first" match at Wrestlemania and that kicked off months of rematches both on house shows and PPVs (well, if you count bad tag matches with Brutus Beefcake). I just can't think of a lot of examples where Wrestlemania was the "end" and things started anew unless someone was a guest, left the company or retired from injury. I have always looked at Wrrestlemania as the start to the main meat of the story with the months before being the prologue.

"Guys, we PROMISE we won't push your match down to pregame again this year."

It appears I'm in the minority. I hated the Brodus segment. A complete waste of time and maybe slightly racist. Also, Brodus cannot dance.

Rock/Cena and Taker/HHH were suitably epic. The ending to Punk/Jericho was incredible.

So happy there was no interference in the main event.

This was more than a one-match show, and an awesome sequel to last year, so it's a big thumbs up.

Yup. The money's the same, I'd be surprised if the feud was over, I think Bryan has secured his spot as a top contributor, Bryan should've lost last night, and Bryan losing like that fits the character. But I wanted to see their match, the match would've been a lot better than a whole bunch of stuff that happened instead, and I saw them both do interviews talking about how disappointed they were last year and how excited they were for this year, so I feel bad for them.

Maria looked legit near-death after her first spots. She has two broken ribs and couldn't wear any kind of padding on them cuz she had to be a sexy female lady. When she tagged out she couldn't even stand upright on the apron. Then when she had to get on the top rope she looked like she was going to pass out.

Match was bad, match length was bad, who beat who was bad, getting framed for pooping her pants was bad, but I can't say Maria is anything but a peach.

The show was OK - wasn't worth $65 though.

I know I'm in the minority, but I hated HHH/Taker. Knowing Taker was gonna win just made every near fall that much more annoying. As soon as Taker kicked out after having taken Sweet Chin Music AND a Pedigree less than 5 seconds apart, all I could think of was poor Hurricane Helms selling a Pedigree like he was dead for 20 minutes.

Glad they both got to stroke their egos one last time, though the "End of an Era" is kind of a misnomer when you know both of them will be back next year. (And prolly won't wrestle again until then. Thanks for offering to put the young talent over in your twilight years, Taker!)

I thought Jericho/CM Punk was fantastic.

Even though I didn't like the outcome, I thought Cena/Rock was amazing. Very curious to see how they spin Cena's claim that he "had to win" the match. Probably just forget all about it.

Soooooo hope Lesnar shows up on air tonight. Didn't he debut on the RAW after a Wrestlemania?

Funny, Wikipedia says: "Lesnar debuted on WWF television on the March 18, 2002 episode of Raw, the night after WrestleMania X8, coming through the crowd and attacking Al Snow, Maven, and Spike Dudley during the course of a match."

I really enjoyed the show, even with what felt like a lot of filler. It helped that I was watching in HD on a 55" TV with good sound. The venue/staging came across GREAT on TV. It gave everything a big-time feel.

Sheamus/Bryan - This really bugged me at first. The entrances had me fired up and then boom...over. Then I thought about it and realized that WWE is really obsessed with "Wrestlemania Moments." This worked in that way, I guess. I get a real Hogan/Savage vibe from these two guys, so hopefully this continues into a decent feud.

Kane/Orton - The only match I predicted incorrectly. I'm still annoyed that Kane ruined my perfect record. Decent match, but no heat.

Show/Cody - They should have used the Sheamus/Bryan booking in this match, especially since WM Moments were part of the feud. Cody shows another lowlight reel, gets really into watching it on the big screen, turns around, punch, pin. I thought it was a pretty good match as it was, though.

Divas Tag - Surprised at the amount of time it got, but nothing memorable.

HHH/UT - A fantastic match, but didn't need the Cell at all. I guess they figured they needed the extra marketing punch. I loved that they actually used dialogue ("Don't stop it, Shawn!") to sell the story. I marked out for the hug a little bit.

Johnny/Teddy- A visual nightmare. Too many damn people. This really emphasized how small the ring was. Ryder is a dope, but his jacket was cool. I kept thinking they could have done Money in the Bank, with the winner get a title shot and his team's GM getting control of both shows. Oh well.

Punk/Jericho - My match of the night. I was surprised by how dominant Jericho looked in the early-going. Finisher reversal sequences are always awesome.

Rock/Cena - The problem with this match is that both guys essentially work the exact same style. When that style is paired with the right opponent, it can really work. Here, it felt like two players picked the same fighter in a video game. And I think the complaints about the STF and the Sharpshooter are valid. Neither move looked like it did anything. The guy selling pain looks ridiculous.

The only fluff parts that bothered me were the Foley crab bit and the Heath Slater/Flo Rida segment. You could have folded Slater into the Brodus bit (Interrupt the dance, get squashed).

EDIT: Forgot to mention something about Edge. How cool was it that he looked like this MASSIVE star with Ric Flair standing right there?
