Been looking forward to this release since the day after the event. For the second time in as many tries, I was not able to order a HD PPV from Time Warner NYC and had to settle for SD.
My TV is not fully calibrated yet, but the brightness, contrast and color are more than acceptable right now.
-The WM entrance set looked absolutely stunning. What a difference between SD and HD. The colors were extremely vibrant and the detail was strong. Had the MitB match taken place at night, John Morrison’s entrance would clearly have been the best.
-The (dangerous) pyro looked fantastic.
-Some of the “airship” shots, surprisingly, did not appear that much better in HD.
-Even during the matches, people sitting on the field and in the lower bowl were distinguishable.
Did they remove the WM XXV date & location announcement? That seems strange.

Indeed. Especially since they kept in Jim Ross plugging the AT&T poll, and telling fans how they can call in and vote.
I should mention that the Hall of Fame is also awesome. I have been looking forward to seeing the full speeches from The Rock and Ric Flair, and neither disappointed. Also, I must say:
DUSTY RHODES' SCAR-TISSUE IN HD!!! Quite the sight to behold.

So they show the full Rock "roasting" speech that some of the wrestlers bitched about going way too long ?
The best part of waking up, is not Folgers in your cup, but knowing that Chuck Norris didn't kill you in your sleep.
I thought even the cut down 10 minute Rock roast was too long. It felt like one of those stupid Comedy Central roasts that they had about 31 of last year.
I don't know why, but somehow this whole WMXXIV Blu Ray thing has lit a fire under me again as far as getting an HDTV goes. I'm actually saving money for one again, with the sole purpose being to get to see this set.
Steph has certainly wrestled before, she's a one-time WWE (then WWF) Women's Champion from 2000 - though she was not as regular as Shane and she was certainly not as good. Here's a video (youtube.com)
