John Cena vs. The Rock: Cena wins, but I'm wondering if they do something after the match to give the likely pro-Rock crowd something positive to go out on.

Undertaker vs. Triple H, Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels as Special Referee: The streak continues, Taker wins.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, WWE Championship Match: After the way Jericho has gone at Punk in his promos, gotta think Punk retains here. I think they could do it in a way that makes sense for Jericho to get a rematch at Extreme Rules. This is one of a few matches I'll vacillate on the next few days.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus, World Championship Match: Would love to see Bryan retain here. Either way, AJ plays a part in the finish. I'll go with Sheamus winning.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny, Control of Raw and Smackdown on the line: Team Johnny wins, but Laurinaitis as GM of both Raw and Smackdown is only short-term.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show, Intercontinental Championship: This is no-win to me: If Rhodes wins, everything he's said about Show is validated. If Show wins, he gets a belt he doesn't need. I'll say Rhodes wins, Show gets his heat back post-match.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Orton wins.

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve: The babyfaces.

John Cena vs. The Rock: This crowd is SO going to riot when Cena wins. But I can't see this ending any other way. Cena wins.

Undertaker vs. Triple H, Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels as Special Referee: I'm really looking forward to the double superkick spot from Michaels that we know is coming. This is going to be tense, if a little slow. But there's no way Taker doesn't win here. The Streak continues and UT rides into the sunset at 20-0.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, WWE Championship Match: They can't just put Punk through the wringer like this and have him lose. Punk wins, but leaves just enough doubt to justify Jericho's Last Stand at Extreme Rules.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus, World Championship Match: This is the toughest call of the night. If Sheamus wins, they could easily hand him off to Mark Henry to feud for the title. If Bryan wins, he continues to single-handedly carry Friday nights with his awesome act. I'm going to lean towards Bryan for now.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny, Control of Raw and Smackdown on the line: Laurinaitis on SD every week would tempt me to stop recapping that show. For my own personal sanity, I'm going to side with Team Teddy.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show, Intercontinental Championship: This one's just MADE for shenanigans! Rhodes retains through nefarious means.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: If Bryan's retaining the title, that means they're going to need to start building Orton up again. Orton wins.

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve: Kelly and Maria, I guess.

John Cena vs. The Rock: Cena wins, and call me crazy but I think they've done a good enough job salvaging Cena in the last month that enough of the crowd will cheer for him and accept him that it won't be a disaster.

Undertaker vs. Triple H, Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels as Special Referee: Taker.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, WWE Championship Match: Jericho.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus, World Championship Match: Sheamus.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny, Control of Raw and Smackdown on the line: Team Johnny.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show, Intercontinental Championship: Big Show.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Orton.

Cena - I can't see Rock winning only to disappear again.

Undertaker - I first thought HBK would be involved in some sort of shenanigans, but I can't see them doing that here, and tainting the matchup like that. Still can't wait to see how they have the HIAC set up.

CM Punk - Punk retains, but the feud continues.

Daniel Bryan - Heel D-Bry (Thanks Booker) is just too good right now to take away the belt.

Team Johnny - Because taking him off my TV would be just too much to ask.

Big Show - Only because I already have the World and WWE Champ retaining.

Kane - What's the point of the return of the big red monster in the mask if he loses to both of his targets since his return in successive PPVs?

Kelly and Maria - Don't the celebrities always win? Does Maria count as a celebrity?

John Cena vs. The Rock: Cena wins because their is no logic in having Rock win if he is just going to leave again.

Undertaker vs. Triple H, Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels as Special Referee: I say it ends with Michaels kicking taker and Hunter refusing to pin him. Allowing Taker to counter with hells gate

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, WWE Championship Match: Punk.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus, World Championship Match:Sheamus

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny, Control of Raw and Smackdown on the line: I really don't see why we have this match. both teams just seem wrong. from the captains to who's on what team. I say Team Johnny

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show, Intercontinental Championship: I have to go with show. I this this is going to be the shortest non Diva match on the card. I say under 2 minutes.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Orton

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve: Always go with the Celeb.

Kelly & Maria....the faces win after Ryder reveals he hasn't fallen for Eve's B.S. and turns on her during the match.

Undertaker....c'mon, no way the Streak ends under these circumstances.

Punk....with Extreme Rules in Chicago, I'm tempted to say Jericho wins the belt and then Punk wins it back in front of his home crowd (and his planted 'family' at ringside). But, I just don't see Jericho getting the huge win here since he'll be gone in a couple of months time. Jericho is pulling the full Foley here; coming back to put over a young star and get himself a nice paycheque in the process. Actually winning isn't part of the plan.

Bryan....here's one of my upsets. It's going to be a face-friendly night so there has to be at least one major heel victory. Bryan retains and we get a couple more months of Sheamus chasing this obnoxious jerk until the ultimate blowoff with Bryan losing the belt and AJ slapping him.

Orton....no reason to put Kane over here, really

Big Show via DQ....Rhodes retains his title but Show does something embarrassing to Cody afterwards so Cody gets his comeuppance

Team Johnny....WWE thinks too much of Laurinitis' act to cut it short already. Team Teddy loses after one of the members turns. Let's say Kofi, just to give his character a nice new direction.

Rock....with all the rumours about Rock returning at Summerslam or next year's Mania, a Rock victory here would plant the seeds for the rematch, as Cena spends the next several months calling Rock out. Of course, it's possible those 'Rock is coming back!' rumors were planted just to make a Cena win not seem like a foregone conclusion and I'm falling for it like crazy.

Cena vs. Rock: Now that the Miz interferes scenario is likely off the table since he has a match, I'll say Cena.

Punk vs. Jericho: Jericho, if only because word is that he has extended his contract a few months. Punk can win the big blowoff later.

Undertaker vs. Triple H: Same as I said last year, we all know where this is going, but it'll be fun getting there. Undertaker all the way.

Cody vs Big Show: Glad someone else pointed out what I've been thinking for weeks in that Cody gains nothing by beating a guy he has called out for being a choker at WrestleMania. Show wins, Cody gets it back at Extreme Rules.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny: Drew scores the pin for Team Johnny making his months of jobbing at the hands of Teddy kind of worth it storyline wise.

Kane vs. Orton: Kane has been a jobber to the stars for years, that won't change here. Orton wins.

Divas Match: Faces win.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus: Bryan wins and hopefully turns up the dial on his awesome heel act even more.

Cena over Rock.
Undertaker wins here, both he and HHH are carted out post-match.
Jericho over Punk by way of Christian.
Sheamus over Bryan.
Team Johnny over Team Teddy after Zack Ryder defects/ no shows thanks to Eve.
Cody Rhodes over Big Show via cheating, setting up a rematch at Extreme Rules.
Kane over Orton, setting up for Extreme Rules.
Kelly and Celebrity win. Celebrity never loses at Mania.

John Cena vs. The Rock: Rock wins --> Cena heel turn

Undertaker vs. Triple H: Undertaker wins, and more decisively than last time.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho: CM Punk wins and the feud keeps going for a few more matches

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus: Sheamus wins because otherwise his past 4 months are completely wasted. Bryan has a character to fall back on, but Sheamus would have nothing but being a Rumble winner who beat everybody for 4 months and then lost the big match against the slimy coward heel.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny: Heels win, but one or two of the faces make a great last stand and get a nice push afterwards

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show: Cody wins

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Orton wins

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve: The celebrity wins

Cena wins, because a) the hometown boy has to lose more often than not in WWE terms of logic, b) Rock has had his big moment at Survivor Series, and c) the torch has to be passed now (Rock endorses Cena after the match).

Punk wins, because an overall strong reign is far better than losing the belt at Wrestlemania (of all places) and winning it back one month later in Chicago. (I just hope this one will not open Wrestlemania this year)

Sheamus wins, because that's what they've build him up for, I'd guess. Would much more prefer to see Bryan retain though. (This one might very well open Wrestlemania this year instead of Punk/Jericho. At least this time Vince can't throw this whole match away at the last minute, like he did last year)

Taker beats Triple H for the third and hopefully last time (at Mania). Remember the times, when WWF was bitching about WCW pushing oldtimers like Hogan and Macho Man? Well, this isn't much better, is it?

Team Miz wins! AWESOME!

Cody has to win! No, wait, Show has to win! Double count out? Double DQ? Double pin scenario?

Orton gets a win to make up for not being in one of the "main events".

Celebrity women's team wins by some insane high flying moves we've never seen before and never even dared to dream of. Breathtaking stuff that will be talked about for ages.

Divas Match. Heels. A girl with a broken rib is not going to do much, but slap Eve, tag in KK who fights, but eats the pin.

Show/Cody. Show DQ. Cody cheats to win, but gets caught, eats a KO punch, but still keeps the title.

Bryan/Sheamus. Sheamus. Brogue kick to AJ. Bryan tries to get the match stopped, but Sheamus unlike Show doesn't give a crap about AJ and hits Bryan with another Brogue kick for the win when Bryan carries AJ out of the ring.

Orton/Kane. Orton. I see this being the opener.

Jericho/Punk. Punk. Jericho doesn't need the belt or the win, Punk does to cement him as the future. I do think, we will see Jericho go ape shit on Raw.

Teddy/Johnny. Johnny. God, I don't want this to happen, but they need Laurantis there to be the Vince to Punk's Austin after Mania. Adding Miz was the clincher.

Rock/Cena. You know, before this build began, a lot has been made about passing some mythical torch no one sees to Cena, because he is the every day guy. Rock did that for Brock and to some degree Orton, he doesn't need to do it again. Rock wins and we finally get the Cena heel turn. If Cena does win, I don't know about the rioting or anything like that since Big 4 fans tend to be smarky about everything and they could cheer Cena at the end, but if anyone thinks we are going to get edgy Cena after Rock leaves, they are delusional. The only interesting thing that could happen minus Rock winning is Cena turning heel to win and then the fans would actually cheer that too, so who the hell knows. I see the fans just being asses for the sake of being asses like they did at X-8.

John Cena vs. The Rock
Screw it, here's what I want to happen: Rock wins via unsolicited interference by that OTHER mainstream name who started in the WWE: Brock Lesnar. This gives Cena an angle and a fresh challenge, something I otherwise don't see heading into Extreme Rules.

Undertaker vs. Triple H, Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels as Special Referee
Taker, who then comes out on Monday's RAW to retire with dignity and say thank you to the fans.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, WWE Championship Match
Jericho, leading to a rematch at Extreme Rules. Jericho has already won by distracting Punk from the singular goal of defending the belt.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus, World Championship Match
Sheamus, the Irish Hulk Hogan.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny, Control of Raw and Smackdown on the line
Team Teddy, thanks to the betrayal by new tweener hero Drew McIntyre.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show, Intercontinental Championship: Big Show wins the last significant title that he has yet to hold. Cody's held this belt since AUGUST, and he'll needs to move to a world title angle as filler between major PPVs.

Randy Orton vs. Kane
Randy, dammit.

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

John Cena vs. The Rock: Cena, and I agree with Hansen that it's not going to be a totally pro-Rock crowd. For one, IIRC, Miami has usually had pretty fickle crowds, and for another, Cena has so totally kicked the Rock's ass on substance throughout the entire buildup that he's had to have won over at least some people.

Undertaker vs. Triple H: Taker, duh. Trips'll do everything he said he'd do to Taker, then have that moment of hesitation that will allow Undertaker to make the comeback and get his win definitively this time. Only question is whether 20-0 will be it for Taker or if he's got one or two WrestleMania event matches in the future with guys like Cena.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho: Punk retains. With the limited contract Jericho's on, the whole point of the match has to be for Jericho to give Punk the superstar rub, and the booking's gotten extremely one-sided in Jericho's favor over the last couple of weeks.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus: Bryan retains. The rule of 50/50 booking would say Sheamus, but the problem is that Bryan's heel act is so reliant on him actually BEING the champion that all losing would result in would be a crash to the midcard. They can definitely get a month more or two out of it before moving the belt without damaging Sheamus too badly.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show: Show wins the IC belt. Show's been the good soldier at WrestleMania for years and it's well past time for him to finally have a WrestleMania moment. Plus, Cody has reached the point where he really no longer needs the belt and can be prepped for the next step up the card.

Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy: Team Teddy. All we'd get with a Johnny win would be yet another cookie-cutter heel authority figure stacking the deck against faces and blah, blah, blah, seen it all before. If Teddy wins, you get a way more interesting story, with Teddy finally getting to run RAW after years of toiling on the B-shows, and we get to see if the job corrupts him like it's corrupted everyone else who's ever had it. (Plus, you can keep Johnny around in a deputy role to subtlely undermine the good things Teddy tries to do and push Teddy towards the cliff like Gollum did to Frodo.) If that doesn't convince you it's the better booking... well, it's red vs. blue, and blue almost always wins in these situations.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Any result except Orton getting a clean win. With Orton's injuries making him unreliable as a main event player at this point, they need to keep these two together for a while and build to some ridiculous rematch at the next PPV. Preference would be for Kane to go over clean.

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres: Kelly & Maria. With the celebrity rule in firm effect, only question is who Maria pins for the win. Most likely it'll be Eve since her pinning the Divas champ would be silly for the belt's sake, and Eve can always get her heat back via a slimy backstage interaction with Zack Ryder (I highly doubt either plays a role in the other's matches).

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

As cool as that would be, that would be wasted on Extreme Rules; it'd achieve maybe 10% of its potential. Plus, it sounds like they liked the "main event one year out" concept, so maybe take your idea and slot in a "and Lesnar challenges him for Wreslemania XXIX".

The Rock Vs. John Cena: Rock, clean, in the middle. Cena challenges for SummerSlam the next night, then FUs him when he accepts.
Hell In A Cell: HHH. I have a bad feeling.
WWE Title Match: Punk defeats Jericho. Jericho snaps the next night and does something super-despicable to get a rematch at Extreme Rules, where he wins.
World Title Match: Sheamus wins; match gets longer than anyone expects.
IC Title Match: Show wins, but Cody gets the belt back in a no-DQ match next month.
Team Johnny Vs. Team Teddy: Team Teddy, with Long taking over Raw and putting someone else (Foley?) in charge of SmackDown.
Randy Orton Vs. Kane: Orton, clean. Whoever said Orton is unreliable as a main eventer because of one injury needs their head checking - he's their most consistently excellent top in-ring guy of the past year.
Divas: Faces go over.
