WM never goes to plan or prediction... I say count on Batista making a surprise comeback at WM in some manner...

WWE Champ: Orton over HHH when Vince McMahon screws over his own son-in-law.

World Champ: none of the 3 will be champ by the end of the night. This is the year that the MiTB winner cashes in. Big Show wins, CM Punk then beats Big Show immediately afterwards.

Tag Team: Morrison and Miz over Carlito's.

Intercontinental Champ: JBL over Mysterio then JBL retires the belt and says he is the new GM.

Extreme Rules: Jeff Hardy over this brother Matt. No other way this could work out.

Undertaker beats Shawn Michaels then they hug each other in the ring afterwards.

MiTB: can't see anyone but CM Punk winning.

Women's battle royal: Gail Kim would be my choice but she doesn't need the push or be labeled as a "Miss Wrestlemania". I go with the previous poster and say Marsye after Santino screws over Beth Phoenix costing her the match.

Jericho over the legends with the help of Mickey Rourke... That's right, WM always always will have a surprise and this match will be it. Jericho losing is just too predictable.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP: Orton d. HHH

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Big Show d. Edge/Cena

UNIFIED TAG: Miz/Morrison and the Colons go to a double count-out or DQ or a no-contest.

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Rey d. JBL.

EXTREME RULES: Jeff Hardy over Matt Hardy

Undertaker d. Shawn Michaels.

MONEY-IN-THE-BANK LADDER MATCH: Christian

25-OR-SO-DIVAS-BATTLE-ROYAL: Gail Kim.

The Legends d. Chris Jericho.

Money In The Bank...will NOT be cashed tonight, but it'd be cool to see Christian win the MITB and beat Edge for his title.

UPSET OF THE NIGHT: ECW is nowhere to be seen, outside of the MITB match. For shame.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP: HHH(c) over Randy Orton, after lots of intervention by Cody Rhodes and Ted Jr, offset by Vinnie Mac and Shane.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: John Cena wins. They gotta promot 12 rounds a few more weeks.

UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Morrison and The Miz. The real question is which lumberjack helps them get this accomplished.

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Rey Wins and JBL retires again.

EXTREME RULES: Jeff Hardy over Matt Hardy, in a brutal match that has Jeff crying about why he had to destroy his brother.

The Undertaker over Shawn Michaels. I can't see any other way for it to end, but it should be match of the night.

MONEY-IN-THE-BANK LADDER MATCH: Christian wins.... cashes in on a beat up HHH and takes the belt.

25-OR-SO-DIVAS-BATTLE-ROYAL: Trish Stratus returns and wins.

Here are some more thoughts from a demented mind in Central Florida:
WWE Championship: They have to have Triple H go over here, unless they do a McMahon run-in and screw-job. And those are usually reserved for The Former Wrestler Now Known As Dwayne Johnson. Also, he hasn't won a WM Title Match since 2003's infamous title match against Booker T in WM XIX. I think he's due. Winner: Triple H retains.

World Championship: I don't get it. While I've only stayed on top of Smackdown! through recaps, why the hell would Big Show actually win here, let alone win a WM match (something he's only done once, in a tag team match at WM 22)? The match has been planned in advance, so I don't necessarily see Edge's "Ultimate Opportunist" gimmick working so well here. Guess who that leaves by default... but I can't help but wonder if he'll win with a little bit of a twist. A heel turn, perhaps? Winner: John Cena wins World Heavyweight Championship.

To Unify the Tag Team Titles: We have a tag team that they were doing something with in Miz and Morrison, and a tag team that they weren't doing much (if anything) with in the Colons, before this feud started. To their credit, Miz and Morrison have won me over in recent months. If they want to have some sort of entertaining tag team that can really work and hang with the big boys (see the Morrison and Miz vs. DX Match on the three-hour RAW last November for an example) and isn't going to have one of its members copping hissy fits backstage, then there's only one correct outcome for this. Winners: Morrison and Miz win to unify both titles.

The First Intercontinental Title Defense at Wrestlemania since X-8: Really, do we need JBL as an active competitor (let alone as a champ) at his age and in his shape? Winner: Rey Mysterio wins Intercontinental Championship.

(Team) ExTrEmE!! (ExPlOdEz!!) RuLeZ: So, Matt costs Jeff the title at the Royal Rumble. Also, have they really done that much with Matt since then? Jeff's the one who's gotten the push in recent months. One train of thought suggests that Matt wins here to try to prolong the feud. I'm not going with that train of thought. Winner: Jeff.

16-0 vs. 6-9: I'm still sooo glad that he pinned Ric Flair at WMXXIV when I was in the house, because the young Michaels really needed the rub from that. I freely admit, I really can't stand Shawn Michaels. Even Mr. Born Again still throws hissy fits - witness his overbumping and overselling when he got outpoliticked (for a change) by Hogan at Summerslam 05 - and still has to act like he's the best in declaring himself better than the champ, even after losing cleanly to Cena a few years ago. He's the only one who can still pull this shit, and actually get McMahon to listen and occasionally do something about it - and to this day, I still wonder just what compromising photos of McMahon et. al. he has in his possession. On the other hand, Taker's been stuck with some serious duds at Wrestlemania (Giant Gonzales at 9, mid-90s King Kong Bundy at 11, late-90s Bossman at XV, A-Train and Big Show at XIX, etc.) and been professional about it - or, at least, more professional than Michaels. Then again, a drunken Jake Roberts in Ohio last September is still more professional than the Has-Been Kid. The Streak does not need to end - and it sure as hell doesn't need Michaels to end it. Winner: Taker goes 17-0.

Money in the Bank 2009: Let's knock out the ones who won't win this right off the bat. I can't see any ladder supporting Mark Henry's weight when he climbs that high, and WWE/World Champ Finlay ain't gonna happen. Ever. It's a little bit too soon for Kofi Kingston, though I imagine he'll give us a good spot or two out of this match. If this was late 2003 or early 2004 Kane, then maybe; but 2009 Kane, not so much. Soooo, we're left with CM Punk, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, and Christian. Benjamin is in this match to give us this year's MITB Holy Shit Moment, like he did last year when Kennedy and Carlito damn near killed him (as well as his MITB Holy Shit Moments in WM 21 and 22). I am an unashamed CM Punk mark, but no one's ever won two MITB matches, let alone two in a row. So, we're left with MVP and Christian. Some people seem to view MVP as a dark horse candidate, but I don't recall anyone who was holding a secondary title (or any championship, for that matter) at the time of the match winning MITB. Guess who that leaves. Winner: Christian - because that's how he rolls.

Divas Battle Royal: One of the Wrestlemania Surprises(TM) comes here with Gail Kim coming in and winning this. Otherwise, I'm wondering if I should treat this like I treated the Gimmick Battle Royale at WM 17, way back in 2001. Winner: Gail Kim.

Are Three Legends > or < One Y2J?: A few things are clear to me about this match. First, Steamboat's probably the one who'll have to put in most of the work for the Legends team. Two, Mickey Rourke gets involved in this bout somehow - probably like how the Hart Brothers started whooping up on Steve Austin after he attacked the late Stu Hart at Canadian Stampede in 1997, which shortly then led to Owen pinning Austin. This is clearly the chance of a lifetime to make some serious chicken salad out of chicken shit, and if anyone can do it, it's 2008-2009 Y2J. This will be one of the classic examples of the heel getting his comeuppance at Wrestlemania. Winners: Steamboat/Snuka/Piper.

Predicted Dark Match - Jack Swagger retains the ECW Title over Tommy Dreamer. If Dreamer was actually going to win, they'd show it on the PPV.

Right, Flair vs. Ken Kennedy would've been a real Wrestlemania barnburner.

Maybe not, but "I love you; I'm sorry" was? HBK's out-and-out refusal to play the heel less than a week after his "Putting Old Yeller out of his misery" promo was? Hell, after watching the match live and also watching it on DVD, I'm still amazed that people called it match of the year of 2008. It wasn't even the best match in Orlando that weekend (which, IMHO, goes to Steen/Generico vs. Doi/Yoshino from Dragon Gate Challenge II on Friday, March 28th).

Just like Rock/Hogan, it may not have been the prettiest but ten/twenty years later that's what people will remember from that Mania. In fact, given the general lacklusterness of the shows since XX, it's probably the most memorable event at the big show in the past few years. The feuds that flowed out of it - Batista vs HBK and Jericho vs HBK - were shaping up to be epic and raise the match's legacy even higher until they devolved into the far less interesting HBK vs JBL / Jericho vs WWE 24/7 / Batista vs Dr. James Andrews.

Miss Wrestlemania battle royal: If Trish is in it, she'll win. If not, I'll go with....um.....let's say Mickie James.

Tag title match: Miz and Morrison unify the straps.

IC title match: Rey over JBL, since Bradshaw is theoretically retiring. Though it seems odd to give JBL the belt and then have him lose it so quickly. I kind of thought they might whip up a quick loser-leaves-town scenario based on the fact that it was Rey who 'retired' JBL the first time around back in 2006. WWE seems certain that JBL will get a big pop in Texas, in spite of the fact that he's a heel whose whole gimmick is that he's too good for Texas.

Money In The Bank: I dunno, I have a weird feeling that Shelton Benjamin is going to take this. Remember, Punk came out of nowhere last year to win it, so I think it'll be another surprise winner.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy: Surprisingly, this'll be Jeff's first-ever Wrestlemania win.

Steamboat/Snuka/Piper over Jericho: Flair, Rourke and Austin (and maybe Kevin Von Erich, Koko, Watts and the Funks) all get involved.

Undertaker over Michaels: Match of the night, no question.

World title match: Cena wins. Match is pretty forgettable. If it goes on last as JR predicted, there will definitely be some people leaving early.

WWE title match: I see Orton winning, due to some kind of heel turn by Steph, Shane or Vince that screws over HHH. It just wouldn't make sense to cut Orton's heat off this soon, and Triple H has indeed shown a willingness to job at a Wrestlemania.

I really can't believe that Jack Swagger doesn't have a match at Wrestlemania. They should've saved the Finlay match or the Christian match for Swagger at the big show.

What gets me is that Flair WANTED to lose to Michaels, just like Jericho wanted to lose to him in their WM match. Having an intense dislike for 90s Michaels I can understand, but post-layoff Michaels is a)a model professional, and b)the most consistently excellent North American worker of the past five years or so.

Taker vs. Michaels: Though I think the streak deserves an asterisk due to teaming with Nathan Jones, Taker wins.

Edge vs. Giant vs. Cena: In a manner similar to Harley Race's 7th NWA Title victory, Cena and Edge double pin on a belly to back suplex, thus giving the belt to the Giant by default.

Diva Battle Royal: When in doubt, pick Mae Young.

Hunter vs. Orton: Orton wins via chicanery, causing the match to restart and kick wham pedigree provides Hunter with the belt, the only real question being does he get credited with another title victory in the process to surpassing Flair's 16.

Jericho vs. Mid Atlantic 1981: Jericho wins when Flair turns on the rest of Mid Atlantic '81.

Colons vs. Miz/Morrison: Colons for no real reason.

Bradshaw vs. Mysterio: Mysterio wins when someone wearing a Citigroup for Life T-shirt interferes to get revenge for Meredith ruining the value of their stock.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy: This would have been better if it had been Loser needs to change name to Nancy Drew. Jeff wins because the company thinks more highly of him, unless there is drug testing prior to Mania, in which case Matt wins to job Jeff out of town.

MITB: They will do everything possible not to show or display that Chris Benoit once participated in the match. Shelton Benjamin wins, and becomes the first person to cash in the shot and lose, thus being the 2nd person to win MITB and not win the title.

Ms. Wrestlemania 25-Diva Battle Royal: I say Trish if she's participating. Otherwise maybe Gail Kim.

Chris Jericho v Legends: It'll be the legends, and it'll require outside help from Flair as well as Rourke (if he shows), so Jericho will save face and the fans will get something to cheer about.

Money in the Bank: Gotta go with MVP. I don't see Finlay, Henry, Punk, Kofi, or Kane having any chance of winning, leaving only Shelton, MVP, Christian as the possible candidates. I don't think the E will ever have confidence in Shelton to carry a major title, while Christian probably doesn't need the briefcase to cement his main-event-threat status. I think people tend to forget RVD had a reign with the IC title before cashing in his MitB, so MVP's US title shouldn't count against him.

Extreme Rulez: Jeff Hardy v Matt Hardy: I don't see any intention of carrying this past Wrestlemania, so Jeff will win to end the feud.

Tag Title Unification: The Colons v John Morrison and The Miz: Colons will win. Miz and Morrison will split due to complications from this match, and Morrison will have his big singles push.

IC Title: JBL v Rey Mysterio: JBL gloating about doing something "historic" makes me think that he'll win and retire with the title.

World Heavyweight Title: Edge v Big Show v John Cena: Big Show wins, then continues his feud with Edge over Vickie Guerrero. Ech.

WWE Title: Triple H v Randy Orton: Orton wins via shenanigans, thereby (re)starting the Age of Orton. Maybe a McMahon turn, but that seems less likely. Maybe just Legacy-ference.

Undertaker v Shawn Michaels: With heels winning both title matches, this should go on last to send the fans home happy. There can really be only one winner here: The Undertaker. If they wanted to break the streak, Orton was the best choice 2 years ago, and they didn't do it. It worked out ok, mind you, Orton still became a megastar and the streak became the stuff of legend.

Taker v. HBK: No way does HBK get to both retire Flair and break Taker's streak. Taker wins.

Edge v. Show v. Cena: Cena, if only to hopefully close the book on the Edge/Show/Vickie soap opera.

HHH v. Orton: HHH.

Jericho v. Seniors: Jericho. This might actually be fun to watch if they let Steamboat carry the match for his side.

Colons v. Miz/Morrison: Miz/Morrison.

JBL v. Rey: Rey.

Diva Battle Royal: I'd like to say Gail Kim, but honestly there's not much prestige in winning a 25-person battle royal that's probably going to go five minutes tops. So, um, Mickie James, if only because Raw needs something to spark a new feud in the women's division.

Hardy v. Hardy: Jeff.

Money in the Bank: I'm gonna say MVP, because honestly, the guy should have been pushed to the main event last year.
