We had heard that Miami was a possibility (along with the likes of Toronto, Indianapolis, Orlando and Dallas) but this is the first time Atlanta has been mentioned as being in the mix. Frankly, it makes a lot of sense --- it's certainly got a rich wrestling history and as the article mentions, WWE might want to save a few bucks by holding the event in a dome. There's also the fact that Florida just got a Wrestlemania two years ago, which might hurt Miami's chances for the next couple of years.

I believe Toronto has been mentioned as the early front-runner for Wrestlemania 28; it would mark ten years since Wrestlemania X8 with Rock and Hogan.

I have so much family in Atlanta, it would eliminate the need for hotel and car rentals, so that would be pretty sweet. Plus Atlanta gives WWE the opportunity to pay homage to its rich WCW wrestling heritage (ho ho, I kid.)
The main thing to dread about Atlanta is the horrible traffic, which would only be made worse by thousands of wrestling fan tourists descending upon the area.

Traffic would certainly be murderous, but I'm not sure that's enough to get The E to take Atlanta out of the mix. It would be my second PPV (went to Royal Rumble '02, sadly not going to this year's RR though) and my first WrestleMania. Because there's certainly no way I'd miss it.

They were just in Houston last year, so the WWE probably wants to avoid overloading Texas with Wrestlemanias. But that said, I'd be surprised if Dallas gets a WM any later than 32.

Unless things have changed since I moved, it's kind of expensive to fly to St. Louis. So I'm not sure being centrally located is all that important.

Well, I know if you fly southwest, you can get here pretty cheap from just about everywhere.
Back when TWA was here, and it was a MAJOR hub, it was much easier and cheaper to get into town. But, it is within a reasonable drive from a large area.

Nothing overly flashy, nice and simple...like this year's. Adding the date and city is always a nice touch.
I'm (pleasantly) surprised that they're using the full Roman numeral. I thought they were averse to using the full numerals when there are a lot of characters (X7, X8). I'm happy they didn't use XX7 or 2X7 or X27 or some shit (I know that last is flat out wrong, but that wouldn't stop them).
