So, who's still playing World of Warcraft and excited for this expansion next month?
I was already, but then last night the strange boxes of grain appeared in Booty Bay. Got infected, joined with a hundred or so other zombies and we went crazy on everything in site.
Being a zombie was less funny after an hour. I deeply regret showing people how to kill the battlemasters in Shat. The best part of zombie invasion was discussing how we were going to kill our HH group's second mage without getting infected after he turned. He was a little weirded out.
I have one character who has three squashlings, one from the drop, and two from Trick or Treating. If I could send you one, I would.
I've really just gotten back into it, mostly because I enjoyed doing the Brewfest Boss quest so much. I loved doing the big boss battles and major PvE stuff, but never had the time to blow three hours in a row doing a dungeon to get there. The Holiday quests have been really fun, and slowly worked me back into playing all the PvP and PvE stuff that I stopped doing over the summer.
So, I'm pretty geeked for the expansion. I love the new little touches they've added, like the achievements and pet "spells." I've been powerleveling Inscription on my bank alt, and I love it.

So has everyone made their way to Northrend? I picked it up Thursday and headed to Howling Fjord and it's been just amazing stuff so far. Did every quest I could find in that area and just moved on to Dragonblight, about one bubble from 72. The quests have been so varied it's been great to just do every one and enjoy the story rather than rush to get to level 80.
Well, we found out that more people than we feel comfortable with play WoW in our neck of the woods, and the new law of zim is that family commitments of all types will always happen the same week as an expansion.
I love my Frosty though
On Monday afternoon my Jubling should hatch and I will have the 50 pets achievement and the Reeking Carrier that goes with it. Then I can can go running through town yelling "I am the Pokemaster" until I get in trouble for being OOC.
Update: I found a green helper box in my inventory while making space, and Lise had her 50 pets a day earlier. This has been your update on our WoW lives.
I must say the Wrath Gate achievement and quests....best thing they've ever done. Totally caught me by surprise. They've made questing fun instead of a grind. I don't know how they can possibly top that though.
