Any NYC residents here that could tell me the names and addresses of good bars to watch PPVs at (preferably for free) or places to see indy shows at? I'm thinking about spending about a month there before 2004, and I'd like to see some wrestling, live and on TV.

Thanks in advance.

Best place for indy wrestling in the city, that I know of, is the Elks Lodge in Queens, which regularly plays host to ICW and USA Pro Wrestling.

"I do have a degree in electrical engineering... from almost 20 years ago. Punchcard systems were just becoming obsolete, we had rotary phones in the dorms, and a modem was still a gizmo the size of a shoebox into which you squooshed the phone receiver itself. In short, we lived like animals.

The instant obsolesence is why I became a writer. The rate of punctuation in a sentence doesn't double every 18 friggin' months, and you never have some 22-year-old looming over your shoulder, shaking his head, saying "dude... you're still using adverbs...?"

I second that, but arrrive early, otherwise you will do a lot more uncomfortable bumping.

The divas should not be about T&A, they should be about Kicking A.

But that is because they are the only one capable of being broken up successfully and imo that has happened. The Dudleyz are 100% a tag team gimmick. Never split them up. Semi-shockingly it turned out the same can be said for the Hardyz.
