I completely forgot about California Dreams. Man, I watched that show every Saturday in university while getting through Friday hangovers. It was paired with some other show about an inner-city high school basketball team. For some reason I can't recall the name of that show, but it didn't have any girl as hot as Kelly Packard on CD.
That would be Hang Time, with an annoying stuck up brunette, and the one girl player (blonde) who was very hot. The acting was awful, but that show was still miles better than...
City Guys. This is the show with the two friends, one white and one black, who learn about life, race, and women. The principal was played by one of the women who has played Donovan McNabb's mother in a Campbell's Chunky Soup ad.
Wrestling fans might also know this show because they had Rob Van Dam show up for a guest role, and were later disgusted when they found out of Van Dam's penchant for the "wacky weed."
Oh, and Boston Common was hilarious.
Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house... Crow T. Robot- A man? Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter. Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her. Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!
Rosanne tops my list. A close second is Murphy Brown, simply because Candice Bergen annoys me to no end.

Speaking of David Rasche, I'm glad to see all these posts have gone by and nobody has suggested that Sledge Hammer be listed as a bad one, despite only running for a couple seasons (I know, this is about "long-running" sitcoms...).

Because Sledge Hammer was AWESOME. If turning to the terrible short-running series list, you MUST include AfterMASH.
Dinosaurs was pretty funny, I thought. Especially the concept of "Hurling Day".
Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was also in "Fastlane" on FOX, if I remember correctly.
Cavaliers: 35-47. Here's to next year! Indians: 18-25. The quest for mediocrity continues. Browns: 0-0

Hurling Day and Refridgerator Day were both very intriguing ideas, especially the inherent conflict between what both days represent. Uh oh, gotta try and not get philosophical with Dinosaurs.
I watched Fastlane while it was on, but pretty much only because Thiessen was on it. Shitty, shitty show.
Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.

I can't believe people here are saying bad things about Roseanne. Aside from the last season where it went crazy, it was a genuinely good show. Best episode ever was when DJ got caught "playing with his instrument in band class".
"Oh, I'm a sad little man? I've thrown a bloody kettle over a pub...what have you done?"
With that said, I don't know how I could have watched that show for it's 3-4 year run.
Small Wonder was brilliant. BRILLIANT!.... if only in it's ability to be THAT bad and yet still remain on the air.
I seem to remember a sitcom - and I'm not making this up - about a girl who was half-human, half-alien who could freeze time by touching her fingers together. The theme song was "Swing on a star...", and she talked to her alien father through a large pink jewel. I'm seriously not making this up...
In terms of Sledgehammer: ABC gave that show a death sentence when they put it up head to head against the Cosby Show in the mid 80's. As for a hideously bad show that I believe either replaced/followed Sledgehammer, a show in which I believe Snow White and Prince Charming came to life in 1980's suburbia. Can't remember the name, but there was a talking mirror.

The Charmings is what you're looking for, I believe. I only vaguely remember it being a piece of crap.
I loved "Dinosaurs." I still think "We're gonna need another Timmy!" is a great line. "You hold this exposed radioactive material, while I get behind this lead shield..."

What no mention of "Step by Step" or "Hogan's Family"... I mean one is named after a NKOTB song for crying out loud and went from 91 to 98!! The Hogan Family was some cheesy 80s family sitcom, it was actually Valerie Family focusing on the mom but the mom had contract problems two years in and changed to Hogan's family as they just replaced the mom. One good thing about the show, one of the kids had one of the Best Mullet's Evar.
I have to agree with the Friend's hate, first two seasons was fine but then it stopped being funny and became way too "inside soapy" of what's going to happen with these relationships instead of just trying to make you laugh with these characters... Small Wonder now that's a show I would have mentioned and didn't expect anyone to remember. There was something very unsettling of a man making a robot in the image of a little girl.
Someone can please help me with the name of an old TV show must be around the 80's it didn't last long. It's about this female ghost who had blondish/whitish hair, but only the teenage son in the house can see her.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory stays at BLUE alert - Guarded (With Benoit & Eddie being World & WWE champions you'd expect all's be right but couldn't do it due to Trish/Y2J character switches & whats the deal with JBL PPV main event)- 5/6

Makin' It Mr. T and Tina The Nancy Walker Show
eccch...
Preach on Eddie Fame! When it comes to sitcoms, these kids don't know what real crap is. BTW, here's an interesting bit of television trivia regarding a couple of the above programs: "Mr T and Tina" starred Pat Morita and ran on ABC from 9/25/76 to 10/30/76 (yeah it was that bad; it didn't even make it to Election Day). "The Nancy Walker Show" was broadcast on ABC from 9/30/76 to 12/23/76. OK; so having axed two horrible sitcoms in mid-season, what do the geniuses running ABC decide to do? Put the stars of the two failed sitcoms together in another sitcom! "Blansky's Beauties" starring Nancy Walker as Nancy Blansky made its debut on ABC February 12, 1977. Pat Morita's character ran the local eatery (the hotel coffee shop); basically, he played pretty much the same role that he had played on "Happy Days" (in fact, his character in both shows was named Arnold). To give the show another link to "Happy Days" Nancy Blansky was Howard Cunningham's cousin. The "Happy Days" connection didn't help; the show's final episode aired May 21, 1977, thus giving both Nancy Walker and Pat Morita the dubious distinction of being in two failed sitcoms on the same network in the same season.
Originally posted by ZeruelAlso, the mom was killed off in Hogan's Family. Car accident, I think.
Yeah. The show so bad it had THREE DIFFERENT TITLES. First it was Valerie, then Valerie's Family, then Hogan's Family after Valerie was axed. I think that was the first show that exposed me to the horror that is Edie McClurg. *shudder*

Hi, it is me again! And now I have ANOTHER promblem about love. The first girl I talked about before is now shy when near me. Now, I have no idea what that means. Does she like me or something?
